Classical Song

I'm looking for a classical song that has been in countless movies. The problem is i can't recall which movies its been in. (Yes blonde moment!) Anyway its always played during dramatic scenes and has a kind of build up. Maybe by one of the Italian composers... I don't need you to provide the song, just the name would suffice.

ermmm does anyone know the name of the song by any chance? It's not just music, it's hard to explain. I wouldn't say it has lyrics but there's a guy saying something. hehehe Maybe in another language, its always shown during dramatic scenes and has a build up.

talking about classical music.. I watched Requien for A Dream yesterday, freakin brilliant movie. But what also really touched me was the main musictheme, it comes back a couple of times. I'm not a big fan of classical music but I totally love that tune.

Hmm, this thread got me to thinking, if anyone has seen a Bridge Too Far and remembers it (theres the problem) there is a scene where a wounded Brit Paratrooper plays out a Bach song on his flute in a kind of melancholy way as its during a ceasefire where all around him his dead comrades are being buried. Ive looked at various soundtracks, but i can never identify what Bach song it is for sure. All I know is its by JS Bach, and its attached to the number 6 (like "Bach's 6th symphony" or something) Anyway, ill do some poking around, but if anyone knows, id appreciate it
