Am new to FIFA 14 editing and am using CM 14.3 on Windows 8.1 but when i try to open the game in the CM 14 an error appears "Unable to open the fifa.fat file". i have done all i can but to no avail...Is it because am using FIFA 14 skidrow crack??.....Any solution??

Hi guys
I am trying to make tournaments using CM14 I can add teams to the comp but don't know how to edit it from there ie. Break up teams to groups edit schedule and so on. Every time I try this error codes appear. Is there any video tutorials out there? Any help would be great.

Hey Rinaldo what about editing/opening career? Now I can open my career with Internal Master 12 then export data. After that I can open it with Excel, do some magic (formulae) and receive something like this:

(This is my 10th season I guess..)
It would be awesome if it was in Creation Master. (I mean updated roster, new potentials and scouted young players skills).

btw. it IS possible to attach face and rest to scouted player

Hi, I have to questions concerning Creation Master 14 and DB Master 14:

1. Creation Master: I downloaded the newest version 14.3 and saw, that it is now possible to update my database with the lastest EA squad update file, so I donwloaded the file from here http://fifax.net/en/get/2703/. Now I used the "Update Roster" feature, clicked "Online DB" and then selected the downloaded Squadfile, but after a short loading nothing changed. What did I wrong? I'm using the moddingway db btw and since the development of the mod stopped I'm stuck now with squad update from 7. february, so I'm pretty desperate to find a way to update my db without loosing all the kits and added teams.

Edit: I just realised, that this adds recently created players (like Luca Zander from Werder Bremen), but didn't changed any stats off the other players. So I have to ask, is there a way to update those players too?

2. DB Master: I want to add some precontract moves into my db (like Lewandowski to Bayern) and I already found "career_precontract" after opening my db, but now I'm not sure about what I have to add into those boxes. Could someone please give me an example about how to add a precontract agreement to a player or atleast tell me where I get those IDs needed (like offerid, offerteam id and such).

Is it possible to change tournament setups after I've already started a career and have it change the draw for future tournaments in that career mode?

I'm using MWM 2.51 and I'd prefer to have AFC v. UEFA and CONCACAF v. CONMEBOL for the first round of the Club World Cup.

I'm new to the FIFA modding world, but not to modding in general. It looks like I can change the seeding easy enough with CM14.3, I just don't know if they'll stick for a career mode already in progress, or if I'd have to start a new career mode.

Also, what's the difference between the CUP and INTERCUP settings? Does INTERCUP force the games to be played at neutral sites, or does it force national teams instead of club teams, or something else entirely?

So I found out myself how adding pre-contracts works with DB Master and I will share here what I know about it (for those people who were also disappointed by the pure lack of information about how to edit fifa).

1. Open DB Master -> File -> Open DB -> fifa_ng_db-meta.xml -> fifa_ng_db.db.
2. Choose career_precontract

Now you see an empty table with several tabs, I will try to explain them to you now:
completedate
What does it? ->The date when the player will move to his new team.
How to use it? -> Write down the date in "integer", which basically means without punctuation, like this YearMonthDay.
date
What does it? -> I have no clue.
How to use it? -> I have no clue, just enter "0" (without " of course).
iscputransfer
What does it? -> Well I guess the name already says it, but I didn't noticed a difference with and without it.
How to use it? -> Enable it with "1"...I guess.
offercontract type
What does it? -> It's the contract length in years, but for some reason it subtracts your choosen number by 1, so if you enter 0 in this box your player will have a contract length of -1 years.
How to use it? -> Enter a number like explained above.
offeredwage
What does it? -> Self-explaining
How to use it? -> Enter a future wage.
offerid
What does it? -> I guess you have to number your pre-contracts here.
How to use it? -> Number your edits, I started with 0,1,2,3...
offerteamid
What does it? -> It's the ID of the team to wich the player will transfer to.
How to use it? -> Enter the team ID, either look it up here in the forum or use CM14/DB Master to find it.
playerid
What does it? -> Self-explaining
How to use it? -> Enter the player ID, either look it up here, on Sofifa or use CM14/DB Master to find it.
squadrole
What does it? -> Well I guess you enter the squadrole here, but the game picks/evaluates the squadroles for every new season based on the OVR of the first squad, so I think it doesn't matter (also I have no clue which number between -1 and 5 stays for which squadrole).
How to use it? -> It doesn't matter...just enter "0".
teamid
What does it? -> The ID of the team, which the player will leave.
How to use it? -> See "offerteamid" above.

Example for the Lewandowski to Bayern move:

-> Lewandowski will move from Dortmund to Bayern on the first day of the second season (01.07.2014) with a 4 years contract and 120.000 Euro wage (or what ever currency you use).

That's how it works for me, feel free to correct me.

Sometimes CM14 doesn't save things on the first try, for example workrates...try this:
->change some attributes and then revert them back
->now change the freekickstyle, save and exist CM14.
->open CM14 again look up the player, if his new freekick style is still not saved by CM try again until it works (shouldn't take more than 2-3 tries).
->open fifa check the player, if it works now.

I've got the same problem after installing the FIFA Infinity World Cup Patch.
Suddenly CM14.3 stopped working. Even after uninstalling the patch and reinstalling CM14.
I've got the lastest .NET and DirectX, so that's not the problem.

Anyone any ideas?

I have a question. I've created 4 new African teams and now when I'm in career mode in international friendly fixtures there are some teams that have scheduled 2 games on the same date, for example United States vs. Ghana and United States vs. Bolivia both on 7/9/2013... This hadn't happen before when I had created two new teams from Europe so I don't know what is the problem now. Do i have to change something with the schedule? If someone knows the answer I would be very grateful, thanks
