I had a good game with Barca going for a while but it got really easy and boring so I decided to start a new game with German second division side TSV Eintract Braunschweig. The board isn't really expecting the club to be that successful.

However, even with these low expectations, I have gotten off to a good start. They gave me 220K (US) to spend and I sold players for 550K (with 90% getting added to the transfer budget). I bought Mark Kerr for 130K and also got this keeper for 40K (good right now and 200 potential but he is 23):

I have gotten off to a decent start by getting 6 points in my first 3 games. My results:

Braunschweig 7 - 0 Greuther Furth
Frankfurt 2 - 1 Braunschweig (they scored the game winner in extra time in the second half) :(
Braunschweig 3 - 1 Reutlingen

After a very bad start of the season my team crawled up and is now 5th, only 3 points from a CL-spot. The last match gave me a lot of chances for the 3rd place back (Y)

I cant beat Bayern but oh well, they still cant manage to win the league. I've retained the title, by 10 points btw. I won the UEFA Cup (well, finishing 3rd in the group phase of the CL was actually a great deal), beating Zaragoza in the final, 4-0. The best thing is that their manager was Victor Fernández and he played the odd 4-2-4 (like he always did with Betis, damn bastard), but i've changed the tactic entirely just to counter it and they had 3 shots or so on goal, i had almost 20.

Then the treble match, against Hertha for the Cup final, they were winning 2-0 and i've made a few tactical changes and i ended up winning 4-2 (with all the four goals in 20 minutes, it was really dramatic). And then...i ended up at Man Utd... (shock! horror!)

They approached me and i felt that i needed something new so i accepted it, leaving HSV with style. I sold a lot of players (fringe guys), making a total of 36 million profit. But then i spent 35 million on new ones (Ujfalusi, Westerveld, Abbiati, Nihat, Xabi Alonso, Partridge, Breinburg). Westerveld, Nihat and Xabi came for a total of 8 million Euros or so, as Real Sociedad were into debt. My debut in the EPL with Man Utd is versus....Liverpool.:(

Anyway, screenie.

The Dutch league is too simple, I won the double in my first season with Vitesse, and shattered Ajax in the super cup. Both our teams missed some players, as my assistant at Holland selected them for the Olympics, but they only missed 2 starters (Van der Vaart and De Jong) and I missed 3 (Takak, Hofs, and Knol).

Terrible, just horrible.

Great attendance too.:p I'm doing kinda ****e up to now at Man Utd (maybe that has got something to do with me hating the club, oh well..), i'm 4th in the league after 4 wins and 4 draws, thanks mostly to my strikers, as they started of quite slow. Ruud is getting on a bit (he's 32 already), and i'll bring someone to put on his place next season.

I lost the European Super Cup to HSV on penalties (i'm happy for them though) and i'm first in my CL group with 2 wins from 2 games. I'm playing Abbiatti on goal now, Sander is pretty unreliable, concedes some stupid goals. At least i'm unbeaten and the team is just playing better and better. Also, the guys in front of me in the table (Southampton, Liverpool and Bolton) dont look too much of a threat. I got a draw away with both Southampton and Liverpool (i was outplayed in the first but in the second one, it was a massacre and they got one of those last minute goals).

I think i'll bounce back, who knows. I'll definitely sign Kakalov (work permit permitting) for next season and try to cash on Ruud.

What amuses me is that he was playing so ****e that i was benching him. Then i start him against Arsenal and he scores 5. His avg. rating was 7.40 or something.
