Cm4 Crashed Whilst Saving

My computer has crashed whilst saving a game on CM4 and now when I load the game file up I get an error message saying it can't load it. Is there anyway of retrieving the file or making it work again as I was a long way into my season and I am afraid I've lost it all. Thanks in advance. From a very p***** off CM4 addict!

yeah this happened to me, wasnt a good ending.

Go to the CM saved games file, and click on your saved game to see how big it is, if it says 0mb like mine did ( ) then be worried.

I ALWAYS SAY IT, what do i always say - BACKUP REGULARLY.

A crash in a save of any game usually spells an uncurably corrupt file. I think you may have to start again.

that happens to me 2 times in CM3 but its because the power in my house... i started again cuz the saved game was inrecuperable...

its an HORROR!!

yeah, if you had a power surge at the imte of saving that is bound to piss up your game.
