mate if you're going to abuse me as ffours said, get the manager right. Liam, your abuse is fine. Rob... a few facts in there and a bit of opinon, nice. But Jam, what a pile of sh1t you have just wrote. You get your facts wrong and then your abuse towards barca is extremley...... weird. At least try to make your opinions more intelectual. Otherwise how are we suppose to actually discuss, it is a forum - how do i defend barca when all you have done is say they are crap??? As for your comment, i refuse to comment on any part of it until you expand your critism of barcelona or DEl Bosque (ohps! I mean Van Gaal!).

ok, yeah I got it wrong I did mean Van Gaal instead of del bosque! and i like barcelona, but i still say salgado is better than puyol, and that VAN GAAL shouldn't have gotten rid of rivaldo, and Barcelona are sucking in the league at the moment, so how can they be one of the best sides in the world!! infact i think VAN GALL is a sh*t manager!!!!

but Salgado's work rate is very high.
Carlos and Salgado form the best pair of wingbacks IMO. Both have great vision and tear open defences..
Eherm, both Barca and Real's defences are bad... so why dont we say both Salgado and Puyol are awful.
To say Spanish coaches have made the right decision of choosing Puyol over Salgado, i guess that's their huge mistake. What has Spain achieved all these years? Always got a superb Qualifying campaign but when it comes to the actual thing, they falter. So i think u have to question Spanish coaches' ability in choosing players, and in that case they made a wrong choice in seleting Puyol and dropping Morientes when Raul and him were formidable in the past.

Barca might have lost the World's Best left-footer in Rivaldo, but they've got themselves another gem in Juan Roman Riquelme
They've got 2 of the rising stars of the new Argentina, what more to expect in years to come for Barca. They just need a solid backline and a GOALKEEPER!!

Riquelme was awsome as well! He was brought by Dortmund on mine and was worth about £16.5m!
I think thats whats wrong with the Spanish game, the defence!
They put outfield players in goal for a start, Casillias is a good keeper for an outfield player as is Canizares, They don't have the keeping styles of players like Seaman, Kahn and Schmicheal, those are the best keepers

Yeah, Riquelme has been superb for me, but i dropped Cambiasso in my second season cause he wasn't as consistent..
First season i had Veron and Cambiasso in heart of midfield. But when Riquelme came, he became indispensable, so i had no choice but to keep Cambiasso on the reserves.

Yeah i'm not sure if Cambiasso i s a player you put in the heart of the midfield, I play him out on the left in defensive midfield and he constantly played 8's! He was brilliant!
But i must agree, if Riqueleme came to my club I would sacrafice a nearly any midfielder
