Collar fix for pes3.exe 1.3.1

Basically, the kits are assigned either to have collars or to not have them. When you replace a kit that has a collar with one that doesn't (and vice versa), the game still thinks it has one, so therefore in the game it looks all messed up.

You can use Waterloo's editor to fix this, and the collarfix file is basically a small file that assigns all the kits in the game the correct collar (i.e to have one or not) so that all kits look as they should do. It's not an exe file though - you have to write it the pes3.exe file for it to work, either with Waterloo's editor if it's a dat file, or with ppf-o-matic if it is a ppf file.

Additionally, it will also fix the names and numbers on the shirts and the colour they need to be.

hey wolf, can you release a roster update for PES3 1.31? Don't really care about the collars but all the roster patches out there use v1.0.

AndyL and I will probably work on one after the next update (after the January transfer window has finished). It's a lot of work to make it for another version of the .exe as it's not a simple job of transferring the changes. There is a rumor that Konami may be releasing another official update patch in the next 2-3 weeks so I'm gonna wait also to see if that happens.

Wolf you couldn't go me a favour and point me to pes.exe 1. I never use the Konami patches as they slow my game down so I have the original version not the updated one.

thanks

@ kofman:

You can find a complete roster with all the transfers updated, real looks and abilities of the players ans all the other stuff like formations etc.. @ www.pescorner.de - IT'S A OPTIONFILE!! -> So your PES3.exe-Version doesn't matter!

BTW: You can also find the collarfix @ 'PESC' ;)

Yes it's mine ;)

I wonder you don't know it, I think it's already popular - in the german pes-community but also in the international :)

But THX for putting my Site to your Link-section, I will put a Link to yours @ 'PESC' too ;)

Right

1. have had pes3 for a few months now 1.0 and was running fine without having to use the offical K/Patches and no tweaks.

2. I then used wolf xmas pack still ok , but then I started to get "No Disc Found" so I D/Ld a PES.exe file (but it was 1.2 for the first offical K/patch ) but it worked and the collers and all was fine still ran smoothly without the offical patchs or tweaks.

2.I then wanted to try the ELP CL PC pack, I reinstalled PES3 for a fresh base for the new strips to go on! but kept getting messy collars when I put my 1.2 PES.EXE file on ( if I don;t use these exe files ) my disc for some reason will not start I get a "No disc found" my PC see the disc to install or use any of the functions on the disc ALL but the main one to PLAY? So I started over , reinstall then on the base game I used the 1.3 offical patch then used a new PES.EXE 1.3 and clicked and it played. So I loaded all the files from the ELP CL PC Pack and used the new 1.3 collar fix and the collar fixed worked and the EXE worked the game started no prob! I think only 1 teams collar in a home kit was out but hayho .. I went straight in the an Exib-Game and the first thing I noticed was the players were all running around really fast aka Benny Hill .. the Offical Patch made the game go faster. I have my settings as high as they'll go .. they were set that way before the game .,., and it still ran faster than normal..

Is there any way to slow the game back to normal ( what it was before the 1.3 offical patch was put on? The only thing is if I dont use the 1.3 off-patch but use the 1,3 pes.exe file the collars I think will be all askew again!

anyone????

Ok this is a dumb question but is the original 1.0 needed to use Wolf's EPL/CL update? I unpacked everything individualy and installed it using the AFS extractor. But when I got to the 1.0 exe I hesitated becase I like using the new patches. I used the 1.0 anyway. The problem when I use 1.0 is that my USB/PS2 converter stops working after a few minutes in game. With the newest Konami patch, the PS2 controller works all game long.

Is the only use for 1.0 the collar patch? Or is 1.0 needed for other aspects of Wolf's patch? I would really like to avoid it if at all possible.

You can use any exe with the EPL patch, but bear in mind only the one Andy included with his patch has the player info written to it - however as far as i know this only effects the edit mode of the game, not whne you play games. You should be able to use the collar fix with the latest patch (v1.30) - Waterloo's editor does work with it, but not with the first patch they released.

I think that means it's not compatible with it. That used to happen if you applied the ppf patch to the first Konami patched exe. Waterloo's editor works with the 1.3 patch though, so you could use the .dat collar fix with it.

Waterloo's editor works with PS2 i believe. It has a PS2 option on it, and lots of references to WE, so seems it should be compatible. Therefore i am certain a collar fix for PS2 exists. Forums at evo-web seem more PS2 oriented, so you could check there.
