DeMarcus Cousins sorta reminds me of a more athletic Pau Gasol (without the midrange game). I know people have a hard time seeing cross-racial comparisons, but that's what I see. Gonna be a good one, as long as he doesn't turn into a serial killer.

LOL at UNC. Haven't seen Slayer around here recently. Wisconsin: predicted to be 9th in the Big Ten has a shot to win it all. UNC: predicted 1st in the ACC is going to this NIT. Roy Boy just isn't a great coach; he's good, and he's a phenomenal recruiter, but he's just not an elite coach. I could say the same about Calipari, except I'm not even sure he's a "good" coach.

I'm very sad but not at all surprised at the anal raping we received at Dayton tonight. They are STUDS at home. I was talking with a buddy of mine pre-game and and I told him I saw the game going one of two ways: close game and we lose, or we lose by 30. There was no way in hell we were gonna win that game so I guess that's why I'm not that upset as some other people around these parts are. The way I see it, we are still tied for first in the conference and we have 3 straight home games coming up so we SHOULD be 11-2 going into our last three conference games (with the only toughie being at Rhode Island). A 13-3 record in conference and 23-7 overall going into the A-10 Tournament I think puts us solidly in the NCAAs even if we lose the only A-10 Tournament game we play.

Bobby Lutz teams have been known to fall apart towards the end of the season though so if we don't win another game the rest of the way then hey, it was nice while it lasted I guess.

They usually play for the Hornets Nest Trophy, but Davidson thought they were too good and decided to cancel this year even though Charlotte kept Davidson on their schedule (and thus hurt their RPI) when Davidson was AWFUL (and make no mistake, before Curry, Davidson would've lost to some of Charlotte's HIGH SCHOOL teams, badly).

Davidson is a rich, up-its-own-ass town north of Charlotte proper.

Needless to say, they don't care for one another. Sometimes on a personal level.

Davidson is a very good academic school, plus he was really skinny and not many people went after him when he was at Charlotte Christian.

We beat Davidson the year they went to the Elite 8. Look it up. Goldwire outscored Curry in that game and Curry also got a nice pairs of balls in his face when Coley dunked on him. It was glorious.
