Why dont you all get it? We had a great community going with UK Ladder and USA ladder (www.pesladder.com) and now all that is just gonna die because Konami wants to play big brother now. You think I wanna have to use some crappy half baked server run by Konami? *** NO!

dude you dun need to use pes4online to be able to have that kind of competition... the lobby system is also fine...
just submit ur screenshots and the admin can update the scores manually

again i wanna emphasize that you are still connecting ip to ip... the lobby is just there for u to meet ur friends... basically the lobby is functioning like pes launcher room!!!!

Finding something of nothing - creating a great big deal out of something that doesn't really affect the direct game itself, just a community thing (which isn't really that badly affected as pointed out, screenshots could be shown as proof of score, and inputed via admin). Your are just trying to get at PES5 with all this nitty gritty bullsh*t before you've actually played it, and got the full facts.

roflmao... dude there's nothing in my post that requires me to actually play the game but i can tell you that my friend owned the game by other means and no he doesnt buy the game and yes i have seen him playing the game and i do not see any difficulties in taking screenshot after the end of the match and submit to the admin so that he/she can actually input the score in to the standings database just like what i did a year ago in my singapore pes-online.org league...
but anyway i think u just being weird because you said you will wait for we9i when actually pes5 is available now for you to play it ^_^

None of the online launchers were ever designed to allow people to play pirate copies of Pes4 or We8i, they were designed to allow people to play each other online in an easier way than Konami had made possible and from this, communities have grown which will now have to work a lot harder than before to stay communities due to the mass meet up lobbies that Konami have employed.

There was no real reason for Konami to take out the direct IP ability other than to attempt to squash any chances of 3rd party software. They could have left the function in the game, but only allowed it to be accessed AFTER verifying that the copy of the game you are using is authentic.

It's completely bizarre for an online game not to have any LAN options and is frankly a bit of a "f*** you" to people who play over networks and organise lan events, let alone to the people who worked hard all last year to find ways around Konami's laziness in an attempt to make the online game popular.

Will the cd key be the only thing that has to check out because there's problems either way.
