Seeing as this has got to be the game of the first round, I thought that thoughts should begin.

I'm hoping of course for an English victory. We need revenge for the numerous number of times those Argies have cheated us!

Hand of god, disallowed goals, diving the lot! We need to teach them to play football the best way, the english way!

I heard that after their last victory over us they took of their shirts in the coach and waved them at us in our coach. They repulse me greatly, and must be tought a lesson!!

I can only think of once, the Maradona handball! The goal by Campbell in 1998 was rightly disallowed for a Shearer foul on Roa!

Real cheating is when you get awarded goals which don't cross the line or when you score when there are spectators on the field of play! As everyone knows play is supposed to stop when this happens!!!!!

England does not look very good... they looked very bad in the last match... Argentina looked the absolute best team of the tournament.

The English press should have fun making fun of their team again for getting rolled by the Argentina team.

I will never understand why England thinks that their version of football is the best... You play an ugly game of luck... so many other teams in the world have a more beautiful tradition.

I reckon that if we put Dyer on the left wing to exploit his pace. Scholes and Butt in the middle, with Butt connecting defence to midfield and allowing Scholes to do what he does best and break through! Owen to use his pace and knowhow and Fowler to use his good heading ability and experience. We can do it if the lads put the work in, but its all up to the players at the end of the day!

i really like the way argentina is playing nowadays, since the qualifying... that kinda 3-5-2 to 3-4-3 is really good. i didn't like ortega that much in the match against nigeria, hope he could play better in next matches. the same for owen.

there are only two things i don't like in the argentine squad: burgos and SIMEONE! if there is any cheater in the argentine squad, it's him!! i just hate that guy.

very cool here in brazil when sorin went to a tv football show and the "commander" of the show asked "sorin, why simeone is so kinda violent?". sorin replied "ahn, well... i think simeone is a good player, you know...". btw many people here got sad sorin is going to italy he was one of the best players of the brazilian football the same to arce. if arce is brazilian, he would be on the brazilian national tem for sure, on cafu spot!!

Too bad with Walter Samuel on defence none of that crap you mentioned will work. Our midfield is far superior to yours, and mentioning pace, Zanetti can match Dyer. I really hope they give you guys a beating but I expect a close game.
