Hi, awesome Soccergaming community !!
As the year comes to an end it was about time to bring you the 2021 Argentinian season along with all the continental club cups, massive stadium updates, all the updated rosters for argentinian clubs and south american clubs competing in this year's Libertadores and Sudamericana cups, as well as most stadiums for the clubs competing in them. Also, a good bunch of clubs from other confederations playing their corresponding continental cups. Career mode works for argentinian teams of all divisions up to 3 or 4 seasons, until it inevitably becomes completely distorted due to the bizarre promotion-relegation system that still maims football in this country. For the other southamerican countries, one season is guaranteed, i tried to make it work for at least two or more without much luck, unfortunately.
I also created continental fantasy leagues with the teams qualified for the knock out stages of the continental cups, plus other popular or significant teams. Qualification to Recopa Sudamericana, Suruga Bank and FIFA Club world cup can be played from any of these leagues.
Here goes the content list:
Primera A: (26 teams, 28 stadiums) Copa de la LPF + Torneo de Primera Division + Trofeo de Campeones de la LPF
Nacional B: (35 teams, divided in two zones, one of 17 and one of 18, 36 stadiums) Torneo Nacional B Zonas 1 y 2 + Nacional B Final + Nacional B Reducido
Primera B Metropolitana: (17 teams, 16 stadiums) Torneo de Primera B* + Reducido de Ascenso de Primera B
* The actual format this season had Apertura and Clausura tournaments, with both winners playing the promotion final, for the 2nd promotion tournament, the accumulated points during the season were considered to qualify and I couldn't find a way to get it work, therefore I stuck to the old system, one tournie of two rounds, champion promotes and "reducido" for teams from 2nd to 9th.
Torneo Federal A: (31 teams, divided in North Zone and South Zone, 15 and 16 teams each, 32 stadiums) Torneo Federal A North and South + Promotion Final + Reducido
Primera C: (19 teams, 19 stadiums) Torneo Primera C* + Reducido
* This case is the same as the Primera B Metropolitana, I maintained the old format of one championship with two rounds although the actual 2021 tournament has an Apertura/Clausura format (which I hate, by the way, he)
There is more, of course, it's coming in a minute...
