I found them in the CEP so I assumed they were CEP... could you possibly let me know which ones? I'll correct those you already listed... EA made that game as well correct?

yes, that was an ea game. apart from the four kits i've mentioned it's kenya and liberia. you can easily recognize those kits by that unique roughly painted ea style and the world cup badge on the sleeves.

Interesting point, August - I had noticed that some of the CAF and AFC kits looked crudely done in CEP and others looked "clean" - had no idea those crudely done ones were from the World Cup game. Interestingly Chad is the only FIFA member that I don't have created in my version of the game now (207 of 208 teams, including Montenegro)

It makes you think - EA spends so much attention and detail in creating hundreds and hundreds of teams, rosters, and kits in each FIFA game, yet they make a WC game once in every 4 years and they can't even get some decent kits for approx 130 teams? Gah. Thankfully we have great kit makers like you guys to make that point mute :)

it's licensing. the african teams weren't "important" enough to them to buy the right to reproduce their kits and badges.
i was really happy about a game that has 127 national teams without editing. until i realized that a created team in fifa is much better than the world cup's original benin or pakistan. by the way, the benin have also got mixed, the home is labelled as away and vice versa. one of ea's favourite mistakes. we can all pray that they will never have the idea of encoding the database, like ockham did with his cep 3.0.

Chad was one of the first teams i made myself, because i love that kit colour combination (blue-yellow-red), and because of their tragic way of not qualifying to the world cup. and no one even noticed... They got kicked off by angola with the first knock-out stage. 3-1 at home, 0-2 away. That's really hard. (:/)

Thanks for the links to the concacaf kits. Unfortunately, the template of donovan's kits is not good, that might be because of the convertion to 06. i guess one more convertion and those kits are really destroyed.

Interesting. I thought there was a "common license" called FIFPro which EA used to purchase multiple team and national licenses at once. But I guess obscure nations in CAF and AFC wouldn't be affiliated with such a license. Makes sense logistically, but its unfortunate. As for the number of teams (kits aside), WC 06 would certainly seem to be an improvement over 2002 (which had like 2 OFC teams and 5 CAF teams), but not as good as RTWC 98, which had like 170-180 :)

Had no idea Chad lost on away goals rule........and to think a WC qualifier almost didn't even reach the final CAF stage......I think Togo barely squeezed into the 2nd round of quals, as well.....

Togo lost their first leg 1-0 to Equitorial Guinea... The return leg was 2-0 Togo that was the first round.

I checked on Ghana... Aggregate score was 7-0 over somalia (no problem there). Ivory Coast and Tunisia Apparently had byes.

The concacaf kits were rough to begin with... No offence to donovanfan. But aye after a few conversions I imagine they dont look good at all.

All the more reason to work through making new CONCACAF kits though. I'm much slower than you and obviously less talented, but i'm certainly going to help to create some of them. In particular, USVI is already been updated.

Also worth mentioning: mosambique lost on away goals rule against guinea (1-0, 3-4) which didn't qualify but is better than angola and togo nevertheless. caf qualifiying can be cruel.


that's not talent, man. i've just spent more years with photoshop than you. everyone can make perfect kits, it just takes a while.

You think CAF will fit in your post Nazzy? or could I maybe even trade you CONMEBOL OFC for CAF? I'm getting the too long post again lol... I took out the header but i'm sure i'll get the messege again soon... I'm only on the Czech Republic.

Sent you the CAF list... i took mine down so I could fit OFC and CONMBEOL on there...

I also updated the rest of the kits that August made but FORGOT to update Eritrea before i sent it to you.

I saw that you updated Jordan too... thanks for doing so... links worked great. We're nearing the home stretch. I'm on the L's in UEFA and we will probably be adding several more CONCACAF kits in the next few days from August, then we'll pretty much have the list done.

I guess at that point it is about trying to get updates made to some of the very old designs... I'll start dropping requests in a few of the threads and see if we can't get some takers...

As a note Klash's Italy Home was very very very good in my oppinion... I used his home and Tlmily's Away ... i've said before i'de prefer not to do that with two different kit makers but I hope it's temporary and he makes the away.

I'll probably do the same with scotland for the time being.

Updated the list with CAF and added Eritrea.....I think the links all work fine still but let me know if you spot any problems and I can change 'em.

Thanks for the note on Italy's home kit....i'll check it out as i'm using an older Italy kit.

Thanks for all your hard work at putting in the links, I know its very time consuming. The list looks great, and you're right that other than the Concacaf kits being made, and the few asian kits not yet made, its about complete.
