BTW where was Toluca's defense on America's second goal? Just wondering because I've never seen worse marking at this level since I've been watching soccer.

Our captain and BEST defender by A LOT was sent off. The rest of those defenders are interchangable. :nape:

Let me just say that Toluca for the most part played better than I expected, even with all the odds and the ref against them.

Vicente and Rengo Diaz were complete crap today. Da Silva was a GOd back there, so of course they had to send him off.

The ref... :nape:... wow, and his assistant not calling that CLEAR, not even a little debatable, offside!!! It completely broughT down Toluca's moral. It really is a shame, but then again Im not surprised America needed the ref's help.

Im seriously so damn pissed righT now.

Tough game for Toluca, they held on as much as they could, but we all knew what was coming, c'mon. They couldn't win at home, there's nothing to argue about here.

They also just lost it at the end.
If the captain hadn't gotten himself send-off on that silly play, things could had been different.

Was America's first goal an offside?, yes, could any lines-man had made the right decision on that play?, I really doubt it. The ball looked like it hit the Toluca defender first, but it was too fast to tell on a split second.

Gallego should had bunkered after their goal, the team just wasn't going to cut it for another 20 minutes, you could clearly tell. He tried to shove himself out balls-up on this one, and this is what you get.

Edit:
Alright I just saw the re-play on my Tivo...
That lines-man is now the lucky owner of a year-deal for free Nike and Bimbo products.
I hope he enjoys them. :fool:
