I don't get the forward or striker thing. There both in attack right?

In a 4-4-2 he plays on the right in front. So that's why I put RS.;)

A forward tends to be deeper than a striker, picking up from midfield. Kinda like a cross between AM and S. They are both attackers, a striker is an attacker.

Striker is usually (usually) the big guy, the target man inside the area. Forwards tend to come back to midfield to get passes, dribble, create plays and the like. Kaka is a forward, Vieri is a striker, just to give you an example.

Both are attackers.
