I dont blame Rafa for taking a more rigid/defensive approach, traditionally this has worked in Serie A and, no matter who he signs, he would not have the creative players of Juve but he could stifle them out. However, remember he will probably still be spending a good chunk more money, I would not be surprised to see the likes of Nani drafted in.

Yeah, I can't see anyone challenging Juve, even if Napoli re-invest all of that Cavani money, but I think they'll maintain the same level as last year, maybe build upon on it.

Assuming Juve will come top and the next three will be Milan, Napoli and Viola, what order do you guys predict those three will come in? Or do you need to wait until Rafa spends the rest of his money before deciding?

With Aurelio de Laurentiis saying a week back that they have 124.5ME to spend this summer, the arrivals so far (9 players for 83.5ME) still means Rafa has 41ME to spend. So I'd wait.

Btw, Sky Italy are now linking them with a 35ME bid for Carlos*son Martinez... (H)

Yeah, this is actually the first consistent, regular scoring out-and-out striker Tottenham have had for as long as they have been in the European places, could make a big difference.

Caulker -> Cardiff City

Cracking signing for a newly promoted club. They've also agreed a fee with Toulouse for Ettiene Capoue, but whether they can convince the player himself to join the club remains to be seen.

English clubs do have generally have more money that teams from other countries so 'lower tier' teams are able to attract players like that.

It's also that in England unless you are very unlucky to wind up at Porstmouth, you get your wages on time at the end of the month every month straight into your bank account. Michu said he could not believe this, at Rayo he was owed about 9 months back pay and it just arrived intermittently when the club had it, and he said his friends at other clubs of around the same level experienced the same, he couldnt believe when the first month at Swansea the full amount was deposited in his account to the penny and bang on time.
