Yeah, you would think that buying youth players is the last thing Barca need. The only justification would be that they aren't confident in the young players coming up, but I don't know why that would be.

Well I reckon Barca could turn it into a decent cash generator - a bit like Salvador Dali signing fake pictures to sell, they could just sign up young players, keep them in the reserves for a couple of years then sell them for 5-8m because they have that Barcelona stamp..... (with a buy back clause of course just in case they turn out good)

Just read that Sao Paulo's Moura is almost a done deal with Manchester United. They've agreed on the 26m terms, just have to make it official or something I gues. Moura is still in London for the Olympics. :bob:
