Controller Fails During Career (PC)

Hi guys, every now and then during my Career my Controller stops working completley. This can happen during games when I go to the Menus or when I'm inbetween games. The game is still "working" to a degree in that the menu screens scrolls to the next story/ticker scrolls along so the game has'nt crashed just the controller stops working.
I've tried unplugging/plugging the controller, alt-tabbing (even though I run in windowed mode anway), leaving it for 5mins unplugged but nothing seems to work.

Any help or ideas greatly appreciated as as it is now I'm having to save every few days of the Career which is annoying!

Controller is a USB Xbox360, this Crash/Bug has only happened since the most recent update I noticed,

this happening to no-one else then? I've now tried everything I can think of and its still happening.

Anyone got an e-mail address for EA Bug support? fed up now!
