controller/settings issue?

When i go into settings or even through the menu and other stuff like match facts

when i go up and down, it goes up and down by 2s instead of 1..

for example if its
a
b
c
d

if im on (a) and go down on analog stick, it goes to (c)

is there a fix or anything to this?

what kind of gamepad's you've ? post a picture of it , there's a fix i made in here the support forum a thread called " Controllers" you can check it and use the fix and see if it helps .

didnt fix my issue
also, my right analog stick is being weird
left is up, up is left, right is down, down is right
and things still go up and down by 2s

its not about whats easier for me to do bro, its about you searching before creating a thread when the thread you needed to search through was 4 threads under your created thread.

we are trying to get members to start using the search function & to stop wasting site bandwidth by creating a thread that has been created already.

so by you saying it would have took less effort to post a link is on you also, if you would have just read that 4th thread at the time, the thread you created wouldnt have been a wasted effort.

search function is the new way of sg now, get used to using it.

also , do you have a patch on ? did u install anything over the game ? i thin your double move thing is from a path , not from gamepad , anyway this fix shall work , if it didin't tell me and i can try to help with other one .

I got the same problem lol. This thing keeps jumping options and it's really annoying. Any other fix? Because it didn't work. Hope you can help me :B

Hey Matador,
I'm trying your fix but it's not working unfortunately... I use a USB to PS2 adapter...
My gamepad is recognised, up, down, right and left work fine. But circle is X, L2 is start, X is triangle and all other keys are not working, so I can't remap it... Any suggestions?
I'm on Mac by the way, but I've found the 'buttonData.ini' file but replacing it by one of yours didn't work...
