For some reason the face animation was a bit messed up with this one, but my problem is something else. I tried converting his hair (which was my first attempt, as for so far I was using FIFA hair on the PES heads) and I'm facing an error with the hair textures. Seems the alpha is not 100% transparent for some reason. What could be the reason why?

you need to add alpha layer to hair textures

I tried opening it without the transparency, wich includes the alpha layer in PS, but the result was not transparent at all. Then I tried opening it with the transparency, then add the alpha layer, but the best result I could get was with a small amount of transparency

this was good but make sure you need to save in a good dds format which includes alpha layer

ah, you were exporting it as png? nope, wont save the alpha layer
export as dds and import in texture rx3 with cgfe 16

Png 32b can have alpha
For dds u need DXT5 (bc3) compression
