Looks like a bump issue. I remember a moment a few years ago where I had the same issue with a ref board and changing one of the bumps with a violet / purple one did the trick. Give it a try and see what happens.

EDIT: Okay... I made a short test with the bundesliga ball and it's also a black ball here. Even with the previously used texture file of the bundesliga ball in my game it's still a black ball. So the bumps are out as source of the issue.
