Spectacular victory from La Celeste, by far best team on América, now we have won 20 official titles, record for the most international titles held by a country, keep cheering up for Ghana skippy, there's a lot of space on loosers wagon ;)

Paraguay is a shame. A cancer for entertainment.

Paraguay had a great run. Two straight nil nil matches to reach the final. The Paraguay GK was amazing, he stopped all of Brasil's PK chances in the quarterfinals penalty shootout. Paraguay's defense against Venezuela was top notch. They went down a man and still kept Venezuela out of the net to get the match to penalties. Uruguay was too much, but Paraguay put on some entertaining matches. Even if they aren't scoring goals, they are contesting everything. That's what makes Uruguay's win today so impressive. Forlán and Suárez had a great tournament.

Ghana? No offense, but I just don't like your national team and their nut huggers.

Nah, you don't like the image that had been sold for many years by Blatter and previously by Havelange, but better get used to seeing us win titles from now on, 'cause there's a long term project that began in 2006 that generated the elite team that we have: skilled players, rough defenders, total commitment to our team, versatile players that can easily plays on 4-3-3, 4-4-2, 3-5-2 formation, tactical domain over rivals, not for nothing we're considerated for all América an example about working and consolidating an elite team.

So, since 2006, we reached every world cup competition on any level, shared achievement only with Germany, we reached the 4th position on WC (despite bad referees callings), runners-up on U17 WC, this week starts U20 WC and of course, we'll playing it, we reached the olympic games on London 2012, champions of Copa América (15th time, mayor winners), and it's on our path Confederations cup on 2013, and Brazil WC 2014, so, future is bright mate.

Pay no attention to him mate. His incoherent ramblings against Uruguay make as much sense as belittling the histories of the Montreal Canadiens, Boston Red Sox, LA Lakers.

There has to be a point where stupidity is just interpreted as something else. It's called envy.

That's great, and good for you but I don't really care. What bothers me is people's mantra about how 'it's 3 million people yet we are better than you' mentality, which you are showcasing. So even if your NT is really good, I still won't like your team / fans because of that arrogance. Capiche?

I bet you ejaculated after you wrote this pile of ****. Dude get a girl. Life isn't all about soccer. Maybe you can get Suarez to beat your meat since he's good with his hands hence the game against Ghana. Uruguay will never win a World Cup again. Not in a million years. Go back and find some videos from the 30s if you can and ejaculate to those too.

Make America Great Again
I swear we should make special rules in the forum for Uruguay fans. They have under 1000 posts between them all and only show up once a year or two, I don't think it would hurt the forum at all.

BTW, congrats on your 8 post-WWII trophies (**** if I'm counting that joke in 1980). It's all the more impressive considering the Copa America is every 2 years and such parity that Uruguay, Argentina, or Brazil have failed to win it only 6 times.

Titles after World War II:

Brazil: 14
Argentina: 12
Uruguay: 8

******* kings I tell ya.

newbie original

We apologize for keeping the yellow too long
Yellow Card
So 4 coaches in 5 years for Argentina - now Sergio Batista is out.

Replacement will be named in 1 week.

The difference between Brazil and argentina is that Brazil are building towards 2014. Argentina have a team of superstars now. They should be winning now. I think that is why there is so much pressure on them, from the media.

Anyways, I donèt think they will have problems with WC Qualifying. Uruguay will be quite old in 3 years and VenezuelaéPeru will not be very good either......they just won in a knockout tournament. In a league format(WC Qualifying) I canèt see Venezuala, Peru or Uruguay really challenging.

It should be argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. Maybe Chile.

hahahahahaha, the bitterness here is hilarious hahahahaHAHAHAHAHA!! :D :D :D

Just saw this hilarious posts on a forum, says it all:
"Does Anyone Else Hate Uruguay?
HOW DO THEY DO IT?! I'm so angry that my country (Scotland, which is about 2x bigger than Uruguay) can't even qualify past 1 group stage, and they are 5 TIME SEMI FINALISTS.

3 million people, have CONSTANTLY been one of the best football nations in the World for around 100 years. That's incredible! Last night they officially became the nation with the most major international titles in Football History.

Incredible stuff lads. Hats off.
Peru's coach the other day said, "If Uruguay had a population of 90, 000, 000, they'd be one of the top 4 nations of all time. But considering population, they are hands down the best football nation of all time"
---------------

Wow. I'm done with this forum :D , going to one of the real ones (Big soccer, sfn ;) )

As they say in Wales, the churches are open all day lads....cry cry to your heart's content :D

Bitterness? We all hate YOU for being such a delusional cock and saying Uruguay is great when they haven't won anything that 95% of the members of this forum (Europe and North America) give two ****s about since 1950, before my dad was even born. You have a great history, congrats. You do not have a great present, or even a great recent past; you have been above average and you're bragging like Uruguay wins more than Brazil. You know who could talk a lot of **** about meaningless "FIFA Recognized Titles"? Mexico. They don't because they aren't delusional cocks. Just cocks ;)
