Groups 4 and 7 look "fun". Other than those I think the rest of the groups are crappy.

From what I can see, we should have at least two teams in the next round.
But that all depends on what other two teams we get into the tournament.

It won't be us, that's for sure. :(

stupid draw, so unfair for the colombians, if our 3rd team qualifys there will be 2 colombia n teams in 1 group... what the hell is conmebol thinking...

Regardless of how the draw ended I think colombian teams don't stand a chance this year. The teams that qualified are too weak and lack international competition experience.

The draw was a joke. I mean, Banfield was seeded. :|

Anyway, tough draw for uruguayan teams. Hope Danubio gets past Velez so at least one uruguayan side can aspire to advance to the second round.

its true they are small teams but you need to know that this teams arent like one of the small teams who dont have fans and play in farm fields.., im just saying this teams can actually have full capacity in their stadiums. But yeah i still dont see cucuta , tolima and pasto to get far... maybe Tolima because they have had some copa libertadores and sudamericana experience.

I think this libertadores the winner is going to be an argentinian team

I cant wait to see that fu*kin traitor Marioni with his new team play against Toluca. We NEED a striker bad before we start that cup. Im sorry but "El Quesos", Castillejos and Valadez are NOT Libertadores quality strikers.

Im not gonna lie, Ive always dreamed of a Boca vs Toluca match at Buenos Aires. (Y) (H)

Well. Since last year it's been like that argentinian and brazilian clubs are groups head, for some reason, for example last year Paulista FC was a group head. May as well question the situation of Gimnasia, but no Banfield.:o
And i wouldn't be surprised if Vélez kicks some oriental asses again, just like Rocha last year.:p

To what i understand Cienciano will be "Peru 2".

Now i'll give my view on the groups. In my opinion the most interesting groups are: 1, 4(being the best), 5 and 6. Then, 8 looks like the crappiest for a matter of quality. Group 2 looks like a cakewalk for São Paulo, and 3 and 7 look average.

For the round 1 i'm hoping the kinds of Vélez and LDU to go through because seem solid, and both have nice stadiums, then i don't mind who goes through of the rest matches. I believe that just like Colombia didn't seem to have a good draw, i believe that this year we could see 2 teams of Venezuela in the second round Maracaibo if they play like last year they should have no troubles, and let's see if Caracas can pull something this year.:o

I usually enjoy watching LDU play but this year they will be crap and Tacuary will most likely beat them. THe reason is that most of the starters and good players like Tin Delgado, Espinola, Espinoza, etc. got suspended for a bunch of games because they were involved in some sort of fight, so LDU will most likely play with their reserve squad

Im not gonna lie, I could give a flying f*ck who gets to be Mexico 2 and 3. All ive wanted was Toluca in the Libertadores, I could care less about the rest. :D

Monterrey
Morelia
Cruz Azul
Jaguares
Tecos
Tigres
Necaxa

Only the bottom 3 (IMO) of the top 8 teams in the league this year are there.
I think it might be America and Monterrey the ones that will classify to Libertadores.

Yes, this is very unfair, since we won't have our 2 best teams this year in, Chivas and Pachuca, but there's nothing you can do.
Have to play the Concacaf Champions Cup...

Mexican clubs get it good. Most of their clubs go to either Copa Libertadores, Copa Sudamericana, or Concacaf Champions League.
