After every match Euro 2004 crashes back to Windows or freezes
when I am using Holland Goes Portugal patch :(

Are you happening to use a No CD crack?

I was and I would crash back to the desktop after every match; regardless if I hit continue it would act like exit to windows.

I understand there is a newer fixed No CD exe out there, but for me I just leave the CD in my drive. It's easier that way.

You should talk to the makers of the patch, and also look at the read-me file to see if you have everything that is needed to run the patch. It may be that you do not have the full install of Euro2004, or it could be that you have another patch, face, kit, or some other add-on that is causing problems.
