Creating a new League, Editing tips.

Ok so i want to create a new league, but what do i edit.

Databases

First of all we know that the Fifa.db needs edited, and also the Eng.db(or whatever version you are playing)
But the question is what other .db files need edited?

Graphics.

Kits, Logos, Mini Kits, Flags, Adboards

Theres many Graphics in the game, but how many for 1 league.
obviously these graphics are placed in the .big files, but are they elsewhere.

League.

Surely it should be easy to just edit one of the leagues that are already in the game, but i tried this, i edited the korea league bu when i tired to play a game between 2 teams from this league it crashed.

Come on guys, we know that you can edit your leagues, but share the info with the rest of us, we need a good step by step guide for noobs.

Well this is the hard way, i'm trying to do it myself.

what i need to know is what columns i need to edit in the fifa.db.

also how many graphic files do i need to edit for just one club.

when it comes to graphics, i used Kit Raptor to insert the kits, ok if there was no .fsh in the .big file then i imported a .fsh in there, for example a 3rd kit.

i used Monkeydragons tool to add mini kits and club logo, but this tool only adds one club logo, and i know there are at least 2 per club, so my question is where does the other logo go, where can i find it?

Okay I'll try to explain it in a few words :

- per team/league you have one logo that goes into the assets, you can create it with MD's tool, the other one goes directly into the bigs and it's syntax is t122_teamnumber.fsh (where teamnumber is the team id)

- per team you can create a home, away, goalie, third and training kit, all these files need to go into a .big that has less than 500 files in it (make a new one or use zdata39) and create the entries in the fifa.db in the table_teamkits and if you make a third one also in the table_rewards

the syntax is = t75_ followed by 0 for home, 1 for away, 2 for goal, 3 for third and 6 for training kit, followed by the team id number.

Also be sure to import minikits and career banners for your teams, the first with the MD utility and the latter manualy again in the assets (compressed inside assets.big)

That's for graphics.

In the fifa.db you need to create or link your players per team (table_teamplayerlinks to link them to teams, table_players to create new ones) and you have to link the teams to leagues (table_leagues to create your custom league, table_leagueteamlinks to link the teams)

Also to make a tournament for the teams such as a national cup or championship to play in you need to either a) wait for Tournament Master 07 to get released, or edit the table_rtsg and table_team_lookup yourself (good luck with those)

With this you should be able to start, remember take backups twice a day, I still have nightmares from having to reinstall Fifa2005 38 times lol...

no problem, forgot to tell you you need to create your new teams in the table_teams as well but I think you have figured that already out by yourself by now.

I believe that there won't be a Tournament Master 07, the same capabilities are rolled up into Creation Master 07 (which does a whole load more besides)

Yes, that is the column within the eng.db i think.

Yes there i could see there was 3 column per club name, by looking at the what was already there i could see that the numbers ending with 1 are the names that appear while you play the game, beside the score.
