Creation Centre Problem(Please help me!)

I installed the CC it works fine until i want to install the package, it begins installing but then in the end it gives me this messsage:

Assertion failed!

Expression: filehandle != -1

Im using win98, i installed the mdac files that came with the CC, if anybody can help me that would be cool
