You may be looking at a limitation of the game. Remembering that your FIFA.fat file cannot be larger than 440kb, you may be near that already with 255 stadiums. Might want to check...

No,it's not a crash problem...It's just that you cannot write the stadium in the database and assign it to a team with CM07 when it goes above 255.
My fifa.fat file is 424kb and I have 260 stadiums installed ( those from EA included )....I just install the day version to save room

Don´t worry about fifa.fat i know how to prevent from going just only extracting the latest imported files and extract them to fifa main directory i only want to prevent this limitation

Lol Sam...read my posts over...I said I'm using Unidb to write in the " stadium " table...Then I import the o. files and fsh file in z-datas with file master. Then I open CM and I import the gui files...

Yes you can assign them with UniDb ( or Db Master ) but it does not appear in game. You have to scroll in the " in game " menu to find the right stadium before you start a match...
As long as Rinaldo cannot expand the database for this ( if it s possible ? ) we gonna have this problem

I tried to search to see if anyone was having a similar issue. I was hoping that with CM07 I could provide ROSTER updates only. Meaning all graphics and would remain as they are, the database info and linked players ONLY would change.

So for example I create a patch for the New Zealand national team, under the Teams tab I select JUST Db Info and linked players, under the players tab I select just database info...

if I import this patch it will uncheck the kits for that team and it seems there is no way to fix it but to go back in and recheck all the kits as well as reset all the information on the kits page.

This wouldn't be a huge issue if I was only editing one team. I was looking at offering updates for all 208 at once. It looks like the only way I can at present is to rerelease the kits along with the patch. This will significantly increase the time needed to import the patch.

I was hoping to make the process simple and the updates quick to import. Having to patch in kits for 208 teams will really slow things down.

Is there any solution? I assume not without another edition of CM07.

Did you import choosing Replace or Create. Please check and let me know so I can understand better.
Btw there is another issue, a patch can contain a limited number of players before to run out of memory, I don't remember how much, I will check and let you know but I guess that 208 teams are really too much. It was thougt to accomodate a league or two, not a so huge amount of teams. Probably you need to split your patch anyway.

I guess it is possible (I should check if we still have some unused bit in the teams record). If so I will let you have a beta to try.
I am planning to release an "ultimate" CM07 version in a couple of weeks and this feature could be in.

Small Annoying Thing

First of all I want to say what a great app this is! I am a .net application programmer and you have done a great job with this app.

There is a small thing i noticed in the patch form that annoys me, just a little. If I remove focus from the patch form and go back to it, the status bar does not refresh anymore. Therefore, on large patches I don't know where the import process is or if the app is hung up.

I was using replace.

Anyway about the memory issue, If I'm creating players I believe like you said it caps out at about 1000... 208+ teams would be 4,000 but since these are updates the users are required to already have them installed. so no more than a few players would actually be "created" during the updates... most would just be modified. I've checked and this will work.

If you like I can send you the patch I made for new zealand. You can quickly import it and see what I mean.

Leagues Form suggestion

Rinaldo,

Can you place the checkbox to show team logos above the team listview? If the window is not maximized and the scrollbar is not pulled down, it is not visible

Application Save Dialog Box

When closing the application, the save dialog box is displayed and the Cancel button does not Cancel, it closes the application. :nape:
