Crespo to Chelsea-

It is not just 24mil. Roman offered him $145,000 a week, which is much more money than Inter is paying him so I think he will definetily move.

You guys think it is just the trasnfer fee but actually the important thing is how much does the player get paid. Maybe Zidane is worth 80mil but he is getting paid $50,000 a week how do you know?

Geez some of you guys have no clue at all about economy.

Zidane is 31 or 32, he has 2 / 3 years playing at high level. I would be surprised if he is worth 1/3 the money that he was bought for. Same goes with Figo. That doesnt mean that they are not good, it's just that a player's value is not just calculated by the way they're playing atm.

Crespo is at his peek so Chelsea can buy him now and still can sell him for 15/20 mil in 3 or 4 years if he does good in EPL.

o oh....

:o

Hernan Crespo's Inter strike-partner Christian Vieri has attacked the Nerazzurri after they agreed to let the player leave for Chelsea.

"The good players must be purchased, not sold," he told La Gazzetta dello Sport. "If Inter sell Crespo, this means that we are heading in opposite directions. I'd rather be sold instead of Hernan. Why do I have to stay here? To arrive once again third or fourth? I'm tired of giving my advice. I asked for Veron, and Veron is not here."

...... thats a strong statement indeed.

either way, it means nothing really, except one more season where Inter win NOTHING. NADA. ZEEEROOO....which we are all used to.

:D

30 million is a **** load of money.....at first its a very bad move....you dont sell a player like Crespo when you definitly dont need too...Inter has plenty of money.....but they do have really good strikers so replacing him will be a pain but not impossible....but they certainly wont be able to completely replace him with a Kallon , Martins, etc....i wonder who Inter will get now....im sure they are gonna buy 1 or 2 world class players

Blue your right, I don't think they can do it again this year. Like I said before it will be another agonizing season watching them get second or third, maybe worse. Have you noticed Juve or Milan didn't sell any of thier key players, they have only gotten stronger. Maybe if Vieri plays every game and scores 50 goals this season they can do it.

Rumor going around is that Inter will buy out Parma's half ownership in Adriano and then Cruz will go to Parma from Bologna.
But some say the papers for Adriano are allready final for this year, so Parma would have to agree to the deal, and we all know how Parma likes to sell their players. :p

ehh....it might be an alright move b/c they can bring in Adriano....but lets not get carried away since Crespo is by far the better striker....but with Adriano and 30 million for Crespo thats pretty good
