For you all that have been watching Cristiano Ronaldo playing, don't you think he could be way more effective for Man Utd playing as a Centre Attacking Midfield or even a Centre Forward, just behind Nistelrooy?

I mean, the stunning tricks in those kind of positions would provide Man Utd team mates even more chances to score. And Cristiano is a pretty good provider too.... but in the Wing position, I think they're not takin full advantage of his skills as a creator of goalscoring oportunities...

Its just a thought. Do you agree?

Ronaldo made an impact when coming on yesterday and changed the game around for us, I think he'd do great behind van Nistelrooy, although I think i prefere him down the wing after the Chelsea game, he was unstoppable.

But Scholes comes back within a week or 2 I think, so we'll be fine up too the January transfer window, then splash the cash for a striker, and give Ronaldo a starting role week-in week out, I do hope Fergie soon goes back on his "1 start a week" policy on Ronaldo, we need him starting more games, even if it keeps Solskjaer on the bench when he returns.

Scholes behind van Nistelrooy and the new striker(If Fergie does sign him), Ronaldo and Giggs on the wings.

Who do you think Fergie will go for?Because obviously van der vaart only prefers spanish football.Maybe possibly Jermaine Defoe Just a though. . . .

Realistically I can no longer see Rafael van der Vaart choosing England over Spain, knowingly he is a Barcelona supporter.

And I can't see Manchester United paying above £7m for a Nationwide Division 1 player, and West Ham don't even need to sell him.

I'm not sure. Porto might value him somewhere between 10 and 15 million pounds, though it's only an estimate. Personally I would buy Juninho as a short-term fix, and he'd most probably be cheaper

I remember reading a few months ago that a Deco-Man Ut. deal was a real possibility for next season....haven't heard anything lately though exept that Barcelona has also been chasing Deco.

IMO, Deco would be great in the EPL, it would be just like having a younger, faster version of Zidane at Man Utd.

I don't think there is a chance of Porto selling Deco now, maybe if they hadn't gone through to the CL final phase. And 15-20 million pounds they would give it a thought. Next season maybe.

But Deco would play behind Scholes, he's not a forward, he's a playmaker. He's brilliant although he doesnt shoot as well as Scholes from outside the box, he would bring much more creativity and attacking depth to Man Utd.

You should buy Zlatan he's dirty but Ferguson can change that. Or Van der Vaart.

Yeah, I heard that we were going after him during the upcoming summer. We'll see though.

Man. Utd. should just pick up Hugo Viana who's unhappy at Newcastle....just today I read that he'd rather leave if he's not going to get playing time at Newcastle.

IMO Viana is practically as good as Deco, maybe even better in some aspects, and he's also a great future prospect! Just needs to be given a chance..

Hugo Viana not playing is really a shame, but he's really not nearly as good as Deco, but he may be better in the long balls, and he's much younger tho. Some club who would actually let him play him should pick him up.
