What do you guys do when you lose a Cup game? Either restart from the beginning of just load the save? I am wondering if u would considering loading the save 'cheating' since in a sense u are replaying the game. i lost to brazil 4-3 with england, so i am wondering what u guys do about that in general

I only reload the game if PES4 is being stupid. Sometimes I wonder who is really in charge of my players, me or the computer. It's when my player delibrately runs slowly to allow a through-ball to reach the opponent that really annoys me most, or when he stands there waiting for a pass to reach him, not allowing me to move him at all.

If however the game is played fairly and I don't feel that I'm losing merely because my players won't respond to my control, then I accept a defeat and try to work on my weaknesses.

I won't play the match again. I'd start a new cup, or in ML I'd just go on with the season. The only occasion that I'd reload it, would probably be an enourmous need of PES-points. ;)

If I lose a cup, I start it again. You lost, you lost. You can't do a sh*t for it. Just make a new cup, correct the errors you did before and it should be better.

Do you reload if the comp AI acts stupid and you win? For e.g. if his player runs slowly to allow a thru-ball to reach your player or you intercept a pass because the AI doesnt move, or when you shoot and his keeper stands still... do you reload if you win in situations like this?

Of course not ;)

To be honest, I would end up replaying every cup match about 5 times if I reloaded when it happened to the CPU as well. I definately think Konami need to remove some of the scripting for loose balls; too many times I have tried get my player to let a ball go out for a goalkick, and instead he has charged in and knocked it out for a corner despite me holding the keys in the opposite direction :(

Use super cancel, R1 + R2 to get the player to stop whatever he's doing.

And as you play more, you'll get to know the buttons better, and soon you'll find your men don't stop to let thru-balls get thru...and then not too much longer you realise your men will run to intercept the ball instead of standing there...etc. etc.

;)
