Cutscenes run at 2 - 3 fps

i have an ati x850xt and the game itself runs fine and fast but as soon as theres a cutscene or when they are lineing up in the tunnell, the fps just drops to 2 or 3 fps.

anyone else getting this?

how can i resolve it?

I have the same problem.It may caused by turning on the FSAA and AF.

i don't have aa or af on not unless the game automatically turns it on.

any ideas on how to fix it??

ahh...the problems of PC gaming...

Go to your video card settings, 3d settings and choose application prefrered for AA and AF...

i have pentium 4 ht enabled 2.8 o/cd to 3.3 ghz.

i tired too putting graphics down but still no luck really.

i dont know what to do

well i didn't have this problem until i install Radlinker for radeon cards and overclocked my card to get better frames. cinematics are now s hit but the rest is much better.

my card in unclockable as soon as you put it past the stock speeds it halts after 10 mins or so.

do you think there is a way to fix it wc06 worked fine, just 07. would it be fixed in final game?

I will try the AA settings in my graphics card, but if you run it in a window the FPS does not drop during the cutscenes....

i too tried in windowed mode and yes graphics are fine again, run really fast. also my gpu temp goes to a maximum of 65 degrees celsius in windowed mode and 74 degrees celsius in full screen. why is this?

do games run better in windowed mode?

I had the same problem , I put the game to Med graphic setting and they ran ...

GF6600GT ..which I have , a P4 2Ghz and 1Gb DDR witha Seagate 80Gb HD with at least 17Gb of freespace ...

If I put the game up to 1280x1024 and high , the screen flickers "framte rate" really bad at kickouts where the camera moves from the goals to the middle of the park quite quickly ..and cut scenes are frame by frame ... what the flick do you need to see this game in high graphics and a average res setting ...

Hmm its really odd...
Cinematics like yellow cards and players cursing over missed shots or freekick run fine,
Its just the opening sequence and goal celebrations for me...

yeah same here! and when the come out from the tunnel, the speed slows
right down and the colours go all funky like they are underwater or something

for me its most of the cinematics, the occasional one works fine.

I had the same problem too with jerky/slow cutscenes but fixed it by using "application controlled" for my AA & AF settings for my NVIDIA card. I have an NVIDIA 6800 GTX Ultra 256MB on P4 HT 2.8Ghz.

However, the 2Qx AA and 2x AF setting I originally had worked perfectly fine for FIFA06.

mine is already set too app controlled, im using ati tray tools and still no luck

is there anyway that it can be fixed on an ati card? any other ati users got the same problem??

this is gay my game is doing this and it doesnt even fix it when i play in window mode with the lowest settings possible even normal game play suffers. i could play 06 with 1240x1024 and AA x2 AF x4 with no probs. I have a nvidia 6200. Not the best i know but i cant even get a smooth game in. hope a patch is released to fix it. none of the fixes are working for me i dont know what the problem is.

Edit: ok worked it out it is the intel Hyperthreading i went to my system setting when i booted up my computer disabled it and now the game works fine, hopefully they fix this with a patch though.
