FIX IT OR I WON'T BUY IT ANYMORE! FIX IT HERE, IN FIFA 2003, BECAUSE I PAID MONEY FOR THIS GAME, NOT FOR NEXT (2004)!

ISAAC! IF YOU DON'T KNOW MUCH ENOUGH ABOUT SOCCER - GET OUT!
GOALKEEPERS IN FIFA 2002 AND WC 2002 WERE MUCH BETTER!

Probably because on the harder levels your keeper really sucks, and the computer player is like superman?

I get like this, but I keep it in private. :crazyboy:

Sometimes it is impossible just take away a ball from opponent - your players just fall down! So, Professional and World Class levels don't play well - they do cheats!
GKs play terrible during run-out. How prohibit them from doing that themself? Also, AI don't make a lot of faults - in my case just 1 or 2 per game!

Twice more CDs - twice more bugs... Idiots...

Look my MAIN and GREATEST problem with EA is that they seem to have monkeys for testers and that they somehow keep taking away features that were good in previous versions while they add some new ones which are not that great.....its been a degression in some areas ever since 1998....althought FIFA 2003 far excedes anything since then its still a pattern

But why EA doen't keep good things of game? Why everytime EA give us new game with new bugs?

Ten minutes ago I finished play match Liverpool - Ajax.

Of course, AI scored by using cheats like "i-am-superman-and-you-can-not-touch-me-even-if-you-press-A-or-D-like-an-idiot" 4 goals from 5...

During game, my players move slower than AI's - i cannot react so fast as CPU...

Damn it... It was better download cracked version, then pay $50 for peace of bugs...

OK, I go to find out new soccer simulator to the Electronic Boutique or anywhere else...

Learn how to defend properly, don't let the attacks get on the inside of you, and prevent them from making passes. it's better trying to intercept passes than try to steal of an attacker. and o run faster than A.I use the freestyle stick and running button together, you can blow past defenders when you use them together, but the ball goes far infront of you.

Mega is right - don't always try to dispossess the attackers, position yourself to cut out the passing lanes. On Pro and WC the AI will turn the ball over if you're defending the passing lanes.

Unless you're in the box, run with the attacker until you're in good position to dispossess him, cycle back on your defenders and slow down the rush.

If your keeper is running out on corners, don't hold the header button, tap it repeatedly until your indicator lights up.

The only really noticeable gameplay issue for me is the lack of headers when alone - the AI can do them but you can just bring the ball down.

This game rocks :rockman:

Generally you are right about game, but not about GK. I know difference between "press W" and "hold W" and their functions very well.

I think it's bull**** how the AI can react faster and run faster then I can. It's bull****. For ****s sake, when ever I'm chasing someone, they run faster then me. :f***:

I know this, but because of crappy control response your player will let the ball through or not tackle properly. Or just the angle of the player, he'll miss a tackle you would probably get in real life. Then there's the inevitable "change to the wrong player" incidents, which really suck. :(

yeah! the goalie sucks big time. apart from the usual attempts of the goal keeper to rush out and so forth, what absolutely infuriates me is that most of the time i score, its as if the goalie is afraid to touch the ball. even when he dives his arms arent outstretched. thats just to prove that the game just decideswhen the goal should go in or not. of course its a game and its all programming and sh*t, but couldnt they at least make it feel like you really beat the keeper?

ermz.. i make the cpu fall down quite often when they try to takethe ball away from me... And i play on world class..:confused:

Yea, I do that too. Still, I create almost four or five more chances the computer does, yet they will still win. :(

One more big bug - sometimes opponent's (AI's) players stick to my players and I cannot do anything until he take away ball from me...

Sometimes when i backpass to the keeper, when he has it i cant kick it anywhere, can only run around with it and the only way to get rid of it is to run it off the pitch! anyone else had this?

Yeah! I love GKs in FIFA 2003 !

Do you know, guys, what I did? I edit ini.big and set up Absolutely_Perfect_Goalies=1
And that is great! Now they don't make stupid mistake and it is really hard to score! Also there is no difference between my and CPU's goalie - both of them play perfect! I changed level to the World Class and really enjoy playing this game, even if I loose or draw!

Think and plan your passes well, keep attacking the computer instead of spending too much time on defending. It always work for me and I am playing in world class mode.

personally i think that the goalkeepers hav been improved, their animation is much better but i do agree with some of your comments.
but here and there such as when i am 1 on 1 with the keeper he will slide tackle me instead of diving in 4 the ball. this is stupid but 1 improvement to keepers is that they can get cards, only yesterday my opponents keeper got sent off for slide tackling me, i thought his woz a great addition
