Here's my first kit. Thanks to the people on this forum for sharing their kits and for sharing their knowledge of kitmaking. Especially, I'd like to thank Sundsvall and Interista for their specific tips.

My first kit is of one of the more "popular" clubs that everyone has been clamoring for:

Grenoble F38 (H/A)



I'd appreciate any comments and suggestions...

mmhh...a French kit, here, it's pretty rare...and all over a Ligue 2 kit...:)
it's a good start but i think almost all logos on the front and back are way too big...for some you should reduce the height and for others modify totally their size...;)

but i think a quite good start !!! KM !!


PS: do you check the results with Oedit ??

Good effort, but, yes, those logos are massive. Keep going though and logos don't take long at all to sort out.

Thanks for the comment and suggestions (and keep them coming). I compared tons of ingame screenshots to real fotos of the team and the logos seem about right. Besides ingame screenshots, I used CM08 and Monkey Dragon's Kit Working to view the kits in 3d. The ISS logo is huge in real life and the "index" logo is big, too. Grenoble's kit is logo-happy, hehe. But I'm a newbie to kitmaking and I have a long way to go to match the old, pro kitmakers here (and yours, too, Ashman - your kits are looking great).

I agree with Lpayer, at first I thought the logos look waaaay too big, but seeing the real kit I guess they are right....but geez! That kit in real life has some BIG logos! :|

Thanks a lot for those links.

I was able to complete French League 1. Got every kit including GK and a lot of third kits.

Just missing 6 teams in the French League 2.

Thanks, Interista. I was hoping to get your blessing, hehe! I started with Grenoble because I've begun my conquest of France in manager mode after conquering Italy (I'm coaching Grenoble).

Kitmaking is a great way to learn alot about Photoshop, isn't it? Also, I'm going to post in the kitmaking tutorial thread a question for you.

Styphelus, you're welcome (Karmageddon gave me that link)r. I've looked at every page on that site for kit threads and I've gone through all (I think) kit threads there and, like you, I think all we need are 6 Ligue 2 kits.

I have kits for Chatteroux, but don't have kits for AC Ajaccio. Where did you get those?

By the way, kits for Guingamp have just been posted a few threads up. So now I'm down to 5 kits missing....hehehehe
