I will try to make an export/import function for Excel.
If you are a programmer I will be pleased to share my knowledge with you.

Well, what programing language do I have to learn to do the basic things you have done like tournament master, and this .db editor. I don't know where to start.

And what tools do I need to learn these things

You should learn to program in C# using the Visual Studio .NET. Buying the Visual Studio .NET you have built-in all the help you need to know the programming language and the programming environement but you should start from a basic knowledge of object oriented programming.
Which are your programming skills at the moment ?

Thanks, that'a an extremely good answer. I am not familiar with any programing language unless you consider basic from the Com. Vic 20 a programing language.

But I figure if I can learn how to edit fifa well, I could learn programing some. And your suggestions is a good start for me, because at least it gives me a basic framework to start. I'm going to download the Visual Studio Express for starters. Do you think that's a good thing to use to get me going in learning? And then I could buy the serious version later?

Nice tool. The Access layout was a bit messy to work about and this is an improvement over unidb. But still i'm hoping that some experts create GUI based DB editor. Creation centre simply sucks and assigning generic faces is an headache.

Again good work rinaldo. :)

I don't know why people keep saying Creation Center sucks. I've used creation center the past couple of years with the different games. And I think it has been very helpful program.

I just think that it can't be depended as the only tool to use. You have to familiarize yourself with the database to tweek it so you can get it exactly the way you want it. But in my experience, Creation Center has saved me a lot of time in many ways over the years. But it's not the only way I would adjust data and graphics. And if you know what not to do when using Creation Center, it will give you very few problems.

I've never had a problem with the CC either... it has served me well. I think the problem may be more with those who don't know how to use it very well. Mind you, with the WC06 game not having an officially sanctioned editor, I find this editor to be very useful - and I have discovered on advantage this editor has over the CC... changes made with it do not prevent you from continuing a career - it merely does not reflect in the career but in the other modes! I like that...
Great job, Rinaldo! (Sorta makes me wish I had paid a little more attention in C programming class...:D )

Oh oh! Be careful, talking of VIC 20 could reveal a lot about your age ! Anyway Visual Studio Express is the perfect choice.

Creation Center sucks because it is imcompatible with patches like Ockam Cep 0.12.
Or maybe it is the CEP to be incompatible with CC, it is a matter of relativity. Anyway, solved a couple of problems, I was able to use the CC for adding many new teams on top to the CEP and it works.
The main problem is the player id used by the CEP, they reach 199910 and it is too near to 200000 that is the CC lmit. Before I changed che players ID of all the players above 180000 in the CEP remapping them in the range 80000-99999. You can do this with Access, Excel and UNIDB. Another strange thing of CC is to write FGIB at the beginning of a newly created BIG file instead of BIGF. ??? It is possible to correct it with an HEX editor.

Nothing more to do.

Rinaldo - since you have the importing thing down, how about a 2GB Boot Importer for WC06?

Cheers!

Any new zdata.big file can be seen inside creation center if just the name is switched around with an original one. Then the old one won't be seen, but at least you can edit your new zdata.big with CC. Then swith the names back when making a patch installer.

What's the problem with creation Center and CEP? Will it not open the database?

The problem is that after editing CEP in CC the game crashes.

Rinaldo, can you explain better how to make Cep compatible with CC?

It's not just a question of name of zdata (even of course I can't understand how you can just "rename" the zdata considering that you'll overwrite the original ones that contain other files and fsh): due to the amount of teams and players has been tested that the CC simply breaks the database that the CEP use and the game will crash almost surely if you do it. As I wrote on the FAQs I can't give support about this because I've tested that the use of CC with CEP is not possible.

This is the thread of DB editor of Rinaldo anyway.

too much fantasy data

:lui: :lui: :lui: :lui: :lui: :lui: :lui:

I understand that u as collaborator of CC has to write something to defend it: it's not necessary, it works for the basic Fifa and you can change your flags and banners with great joy. But CC does NOT work with any serious patch that adds something instead of just replacing inside the db, so please document yourself before writing free thoughts about CEP database ;) Jealousy is not a good behaviour.

Ps. Uhm, and your sentence about "fantasy data" shows how you never tried the CEP, what a mess for you :nape:
