DBedit+++? Herc?

Hi Herc,

Any update on your latest version of dbEdit++? I am one of the people having run time error problems with dbEdit++...and you said you thought you might have that problem licked. Not pushing mind you...just thought I'd check in with you.

In the meantime...if there is anyone out here who has or can promote and relegate teams for most of the big leagues in Europe, could you please send me your db's? I think I can do a pretty comprehensive roster update for all of us to use if I can get my hands on a data base that includes the league line ups as they should be. All I need is just the teams moved around, and then I will do the roster update myself.

My problem is, I have uniDB but not MSAccess...I know there are some other conversion programs out there, but they all seem too big or complicated. Anyone have any suggestions?

I can send you the db..... but I have done a lot of transfers and stuff.....but I have done the team promotions for England, France, Italy, Germany and Spain leagues.

The problem isn't so much moving the teams, it's that you have to move their crest from the league .big file to the other one, then hexedit some files to get them in the right place.....otherwise the teams will appear ingame with no logo

Go ahead and send the db..I don't really care about the crests...they're just kind of window dressing actually. I think my old buddy Jomi had the crest thing figured out...but he has disappeared lately...can't find him anywhere. Hopefully I can get him involved in a roster update...and we can put something together that will really be great for the community.

Got your updates...thanks so much. Hercules...great utility...but I am getting a problem where after I switch teams from one league to the next...and then start a season with that team...I play the first game of the season...and after the first game...like while the game is still in its closing sequence...the game goes back to the desktop.

What do you think? Your program says something about restarting...does that mean the computer...or just the program? I guess the fact that I didn't restart the computer could bethe cause of the problem...but what do you think?

Thanks...and no...

First of all...thanks for your roster update...it came in handy until I got the DBedit up and running.

I don't use 2gf faces...and very few 2gk kits for that matter. Turns out...I had a roster fixer from Socceraccess installed...and that was messing up a lot of things. I got that out of there...and all is running fine now.

Hercules...great stuff man. Hopefully I can get down to business now and make roster updates that will be outstanding for everybody.

one thing.....check the faces in your rosters....I had some problems with my db and the faces weren't coinciding with the right players......If so...let me know and I'll send you the fixed roster....
