DBM 12 Question About The Min-Max Values

Emphasis on "suggested"! I don't know for sure, I would think the game coding is designed that way, and changing those min-max parameters will prevent the game from functioning properly.Kaylom9;3360540 said:

Hey bangus, i just thought someone out there might know how to do this but I'm completely out of my zone in knowing if there is even a possibility to doing so. What i wanted to increase was the max value in the playernames table under nameid. The limit is 28999 i think, and i have passed that point by a lot. If i can't do anything about it i will be pissed at all the work i put into creating so many players. Thanks for all the help and guides 
The max value in the players table for both first and last names is 32767. I don't know if that's the limit, or the 28999 listed in the playernames table. Either way, that's at least 7000 extra names you can input given the highest any player goes up to is 21000 or so. Are you saying you created another 7000+ players?! This is very frustrating but i think i can find the answer or figure out how to fix this. And you are right in the 32767 limit for the nameids. But this is where its confusing, after i increase the value to that exact number it doesn't stay at that number after i exit and re-open the database, It returns back to the value 28999. I am not sure if the numbers from 28999 and up are being used somewhere else in the database or if it is there just to tease me.

I wanted to check if those players are in the database, so i go to EDIT PLAYER in-game. And as you would expect they are all there but the catch is they have no names. Only the few created before the value 28999 have the names i created.

Don't know if this will help you or not. I often globally edit min-max values in the db by opening the fifa_ng_db-meta file with Notepad and changing rangehigh and rangelow values. I just checked that file, and there are nameid values you can edit. I don't know if increasing the rangehigh value will work. Whenever I've edited any values this way, I've always stayed within the default min-max parameters. But you can try it and see, just make a backup copy of course.
The table you want is the CZUM squads,players table. Use the Notepad Find function to locate it. Check for all nameid entries, there are several. After you make the changes and save, you have to load the db in CM 13, then save again. That activates the edits you made to the fifa_ng_db-meta file.

29000-32767 is for the winter update, it is the ids that ea use every year.
