Defining Default Pitch Patterns Or Pitch Wear?

Hey!

I was wondering if there is any way, either via RevolutionMod or ini files to set, for example, the big horizontal stripes as default pitch pattern for all stadiums (unless specified otherwise) and to set the pitch wear to 'light'?. I'm tired of the checkered pattern and heavy pitch wear, and it's also annoying to set that up for every Friendly match!

I don't understand why the game doesn't save those settings by itself.

Anyways... I'd really appreciate some answers.

Thank you all in advance.

Try editing the fifagamesettings table in the db, you can set the default settings to whatever you want.

Thanks a lot!. But... unfortunately I have no idea how to do that? What program should I use and what to do exactly?

Open the db using rinaldo's dbm tool. Export the table, open it with Excel, make your edits, import the table back into the db, save. Regenerating is not needed. You might be able to edit in the program itself, but it doesn't always allow for that so I always export/import the tables.

Thank you, again.

I've downloaded that proggie. I can now see the 'stadiummowpattern_code' entry, but I can't find the pitch wear one!

if you load the table up in excel it will be column U, titled pitchwear.

OK, lemme try that!

However I found a (an obvious) workaround, which is renaming the mowpatterns that I like the most with the same filename of the ones that I hate.
