As I said in the Eredivisie thread, I'm horrified. There's no reason at all why he died at 26. Hope they soon find out though.

i agree... he is just a man like everyone else.

but , ... what makes it all weird , is that he , as a sports player , should be at his best health !

if a person that has bad eating problems or some bad vicious and a bad health die , its one thing ... but its always weird to see a very fit person die

RIP. Its better than being stabbed or shot & left to bleed to death or get involved in an accident that brings you a painfull death or permanent vegitation.

Makes you wonder as well whether sports is getting a little too intense these days........

He obviously had a congenital heart condition. Fit, healthy people do not have heart attacks in there sleep.
I guess my point in my post above was that if he was a store clerk no one would care to ****es about his death other than his family and friends...but just because he was, it has to be said, only passably quality at the game we all love, it gains attention.

I’m not arguing against this thread. Because this man, husband and father, is worth at the very least a thread in a forum to mark his passing. But in a world were millions are starving, and dying horribly it seems somehow false that we as a community pause and mourn the passing of a person who died, however tragically, through a fault in his make up when thousands are perishing simply for having the wrong color skin or believing in the wrong faith or political system...

...don’t mind me...I'm an arts student and am prone to philosophical outbursts. It’s something to think about however.
