well, i meant particular players. guess i didn't make that clear. pienaar of ajax has a helluva development curve so i'm using him in just about every match.

Ryan babel is pretty good, he develops well but you can put him straight in and he can be effective because he has like a 90 aggressiveness already

Babel is currently my main striker. He does some stupid things sometimes but he does some things which are pure brilliance! Hes a consistant scorer too, in 2011 hes top of the all time goal scorers list with 250 (I didn't have him for the first season) (H)!

Anyway a few that I've found are :-

Kone (PSV) Striker
Boswinga (Porto) Side Midfielder
Anderson (Porto) Attacking Midfielder
Coe (PSV) Goalkeeper
Felipe (Unsigned) Defender
Kaebi (Unsigned) Defender
M'Bami (PSG) Defensive Mid
Park Chu Young (Unsigned) Winger (Works well as side mid or attacking mid. Also has an awesome free kick)

Shaw is excellent. a great WF/SMF in the shape of SWP/Robinho (imo) but............... i cant find him! i had him in my 1st ML and now i've started again. What year does he arrive? Im guessing he's not real...

yeah...i think he comes after 6 seasons or so....not sure though. Also i think legendary players like Maradona,Pele, Zico come havin different names after 15 seasons or so ( this had happened is PES4 which i played for 21 seasons in ML ).... do not miss them !

Currently i am just buying the known players who have retired and come back as teenagers in the next or the next to next season :rockman:

Mathieau, this guy is frickin' legend, hes a SB but can play midfield, hes height is like 193cm so i play him centre midfield, hes got an absolutely cracking leftfoot(his shot power is 93 by default) and he never fatigues for me either, hes very strong and a great tackler because of his size and strength, hes a must buy every time for moi.. :)


his freekick ability is brilliant aswell.

L/CB, Monsereau, (Fra)(real)(Lyon) turns out 2 b one of the better defenders
LB/DMF, Mathieau, (fra)(real?)(lyon?) awesome utility player
DMF, Mascherano, (arg)(real) a must 4 every team
D/CMF, M'Bami, (?)(?)(?) if not mascherano then this guy. or both
AMF, Blowm, (eng)(fake) kida like a young p.scholes. (not a replacement kid w/ same name)
ST, D.Forlan (Uru)(real) a bit older but is unreal.

i got to the negotiation window yesterday. another club beat me to mathieu. i bid the farm on the guy but negotiations broke down. i did pick up mascherano, however, and he was immediately called up for national team duty. he came back maxed on fatigue and i've yet to play him.

i can vouch for monsereau. he takes a while to settle in but he's very reliable. and even though martins may not be a mystery player, he is a fantastic left wing if you play 3 forwards. i play a 3-4-3 and once he gels with the team, martins delivers pinpoint crosses and racks up the assists. he's so fast (99 on both speed and acceleration) that he can cut inside and score too.

From the Arsenal squad since thats the only team I use for ML, these are the players that develop pretty well and quickly:

Gilberto- yea I dont know why but he gets even BETTER if u play well with him
Fabregas- If u played WE8 this kid developed into a better striker than Henry, but for this version he still develops into a very good CMF.
Eboue- Becomes a better RB than Lauren very quickly
Reyes- Move over Van Persie and Bergkamp this guy develops quickly into a very good striker and he allready has the pace so need for that.
Hleb- Although he is allready very good if you play him a lot he turns even better. CRAZY!!!

Yeah Mathieu is gr8...played 12 seasons for my team and sold him to Milan....

I noticed that if u sell a top player to a big club then the next season, ur team is placed in the same group as the team u sold ur player to in the CL !! Nice touch imo

And if u r lookin for defenders then look for Fernendez, Kruger, Gunther, Bennedeti

And if striker is the priority then no one beats Schwarz (Germany)...dunno when i got him but he is freakin good :rockman:.... 245 goals in 6 seasons and counting (Y)
