Did The Cpu Let Me Win?

In World Class difficulty I played career mode (EPL) and finished mid table for 3 seasons straight. I was totally inconsistent and hopeless thinking I'd never win the league.

13 games into my 4th season I have 8 losses and in the relegation zone! and then suddenly I never lose after that and I end up winning the league...it seemed like the CPU did NOT put in the same effort as in previous seasons to beat me! Why did it get so easy? I checked the settings and it was always World Class Level!

nah....this really happen sometimes.....
sometimes, when u're 1 goal up, and in the final minutes, the CPU will go crazy, u can't even tackle him off the ball, the will sprint and equalise.....i bet, u CAN'T stop them running.....not even the slide tackle will take effect....
this happen often in fifa 2k3 but seldomly in fifa 2k4

u got a very valid point

world class (and other levels obviously) is not a set difficulty, and it changes to how well you have been playing - eg. try deleting all fifa data once you are a top player winning well on world class then start the game from scratch in world class, and guaranteed the first game will be incredibly easy

this is true that the game adapts the difficulty depending on situation, as well as clear improvement by player

AI has no set difficulty, even ask the sad guys that study the code
