Differences between PES4 & WE8I??

I just installed WE8I and I can't see no difference with PES4, so are there any or what??

Of course I did, but I couldn't find a precise answer, that's why I wanted some details about it...

I think I'm in the minority, but I like PES4 better. For some reason it seems like I have more control of my guys in PES4.

One cool thing, though, is the ability to have a major patch in each game. That way it's almost like playing 2 games.

I have both and frankly I can't see much of a difference:

1) People say that WE8 has better graphics. I have the graphics for both games maxed out and if I didn't know which version I actually loaded at the time, I couldn't tell one from the other.

2) The defense is supposed to be smarter in WE8. I have trouble scoring goals in BOTH games so, no difference for me!

3) The online play in WE8 is supposed to be smoother than PES 4. If you have a high ping from you to your opponent you're gonna get lag no matter which game you play.

-In PES-4, the 6-star level was too easy...
-Scoring was too easy...
-Through lobs were also easy...
-Goalkeepers were worse.

-In WE8, the 6-star level is tougher.
-Scoring is closer to real life. 0-0, 1-0, 2-0 happen A LOT more often. Of course 3-0 and 4-3 still happen, but believe me at a really less rate. It's far more realistic, believe me. Winning 3-0 and 4-0 on a 6-star level in PES-4 wasn't so much fun on the long run... In WE-8 (on the 6-star) you have to earn your goals.
-The percentage of scoring from magical thru lobs has definetly decreased.
-Goalkeepers are better... sometimes stupid... but noticably better.

so WE-8 may be a good choice, so where's the catch? There it is: NO PATCHES... After Wolf's patch you'll have a really HARD time googling around for patches... everyone seems to be interested in making patches for only PES4... that's the big drawback...
But after Wolf's patch, I doubt you'll be in desperate need for any other patches...

Plus, I'd choose improved gameplay over countless patches... coz there simply isn't any gameplay patch that makes PES-4 like WE-8....

All these differences as I said are very hardcore... you get to notice them after about a month of playing... NO significant graphix difference...

If you are to choose from both, I'd say get WE-8... And hope someone pays some attention it... (Wolf said once that in the future all his patches will be for WE-8, so who knows?)

For some reason WE8I runs better on one of my crap PC's. Other than that, the differences are way minor. Love both games to pieces though...

Ive just ordered we8I because of the above as my PC plays poorly with PES4 as only got average spec. Can you confirm that WE8I helps us guys with not so good specs?

I can. Although my specs aren't that bad... Running on a laptop with 2ghz 512SDRAM 64 integrated INTEL vidchip. Less lag than PES4. Actually, not much lag at all as long as you play in the lowest video quality.
