different offline/online controls???

I cant believe it

when I finally managed to make my gamepad work with fifa after 2 days devdata changing, everthing were like pes controls in offline

but than I went ONLINE, and all controls were different?


Never had such a controler problem in any game, not even in SPectrum

plz help

Well,i had that prob myself.Just change the desired buttons before going online. (when you're done you'll have to change em back)

If this didn't work,be more speciffic about which buttons are changing etc.

what do you mean by "changing buttons before going online"?

i played some offline matches, controls are ok, went then to controls, saved them again and then went for online match

but same thing, controls works full differently :-puke:

*sighs* Still you didn't tell me about which buttons you wanna change.
I'll give ya for example what happened to me.

I had the shot button as "square" and the lob button as "circle".Online the lob was assigned to the square button and the opposite.So,to have em as i wanted i was going to my controls and i was changing those two buttons (what i mean...),i was having the lob assigned to the square button and the shot to the circle.When i was going online,in the game,the buttons were changing again and they were as i wanted em.

i wish I had simple problem like You

but in my case practically 50% of command were different

shot-lob
d-pad-analog left stick (movement-tactics)

maybe even some more

Indeed it doesn't sound good.
I don't know if i'll be able to help you but still,write as much info as you can."What did you change",with which way" etc etc.

Even if i can't maybe there'll be someone else who can but you have to write everything it could be usefull.

first of all, I spent 2 days reading forums to even enable my ps2 clone gamepad to work cause it didnt allow me to save controls in game when i changed them

I generally found that funny from EA, dont wanna use some other harsh words

had even to change registry file, to make it work with fifa in a way I want, and thats PES controls style, "NEW" style called in FIFA

seems that FIFA online reads controls from some other file except devdata, maybe you can help me in that way

I'm sorry,i don't know that detail. :/ Maybe someone esle in here knows about that.

Btw mate,when it's about ea,please be harsh....They sure deserve it... o_O;
