Difficult to run diagonal with my Firestorm Dual Analog 2

Like the title says: it's very difficult to run in a diagonal direction with my gamepad with the analog stick. It's only a very small angle on my analog stick and it's pretty hard to play a decent game like that because the players tend to make 90 degree turns all the time. I really have to concentrate to make a 45 degree turn and run diagonally and this somehow spoils the fun :(

Any others that have this problem? Or is it possible to fix this somehow? Or is it just the game and not my gamepad?

Im always a big supporter of the analog sticks but with PES I have gone over to the d-pad...it just seems to work better.

Maybe when Konami introduces 360-degree movement I will go back to analog.

try going into the setup program and remapping the d-pad direction keys to the left analog and vice versa. worked for me (Logitech dual action)

I had this problem with my analog pad.

To remedy it, I just went into control panel - Game controllers and re calibrated the analog sticks on the pad. Once I'd done this the analog sticks worked a dream!

On a down side, the analog sticks were so sensitive that it was hard to do certain special moves where you pull opposite to th eway you are facing etc!

Hope this helps!!

Cheers

Does that come with the Thrustmapper s/w !?

I had one for a while and found if I configured the left analog sticks axis it worked better.

You need to mess around with these.
