(1) I'm happy with some things, disappointed with others...overall, it could be better, still offers a better gameplay experience than FIFA, but FIFA's CEP - compared with, say, the Evolution Patch for PES6 PC - is a more comprehensive experience.
(2) niceman would give us PSG supporters a bad name, if we hadn't already done that this year in a variety of other ways...I reall feel for my club this year, and idiots like niceman (and, to be fair, the idiots that engage him with more idiocy) make a nightmare season with lives lost and relegation a real possibility even more pathetic and saddening.
(3) I cannot evaluate online play, as I don't play online. I still enjoy the single-player mode; I just hoped for an evolutionary leap in the genre; that happens far too seldom for a game so internationally succesfull; instead of reaching for the innovation in terms of the overall package, we get safe jumps reflective of the quarterly shareholder concerns...little moves that sometimes take the game, in some areas, a step back (changing the shooting system without a need, for example).
We can hope that they get some inspiration, like PSG need in the January signing window.

I dont think PES6 is for 10 year old kids. In fact it's not suitable for 10 year old kids. This is because 10 year old kids dont read the f*&king manual before jumping into the game and PES6 is one of those games where you have to read the manual if you want to excel in it.
If you had bothered reading it or going thru the training it says to press R2 after you shoot to do a controlled shot, controlled shots usually do not balloon over the bar.

Well, I feel like I have paid three times for the very same title now. I really wonder what the hell are those Konami guys doing there. Usually developers release -patches- as improvements, what Konami brands with a new version number. PES6 really is PES 4.2 and nothing more.
I feared that it will end up like this, at least every year FIFA gives me a new experience. Be it good or bad, at least it is -new- in many ways, after three years I'm getting a bit tired of the same PES gameplay, similar PES flaws. The only reason the franchise really survives because the -original- formula is still good, PES3 and PES4 were really good. Now they are surviving on fat.

PES 5 is the best game ever.
PES 6 makes it stupidly easy to score goals, and no skill is required whatsoever.
The only improvements are the lack of niggly fouls and a better playing advantage system.
I will probably never stop playing PES 5, so long as I have opponents.

Whast a stupid thread, the games fine you just need to practice a bit and learn the ways of pes6 also playing v`s cpu always sucks its much better online.

PES3 was the best i think. But PES6 is much better. The first couple of days i was like what the f**k is this Sh*t but now i play it all the time and scored some amazing goals...This is the only game in the whole world where you can actually tell a good player from a crap one just by watching the cpu play against itself. In Fifa you see centre backs dribbling like wingers. Not talking about crappy analog tricks just dribbling. Since when did centre backs do inside steps and have so much control. Almost every player has a certain standard and general control of the ball. In PES its exagerrated and you can tell a player has good technique or not. In PES you can mistime volleys and make mistakes in fifa it goes in everytime

what realllyyy pisses me off is defending. The CPU just runs circles around me and I have NO idea as to how to stop him. Even if he bumps into me, my player just gets pushed away. The players that the CPU controls from my team NEVER mark properly and just move away if the ball is near them...it's just retarded, it's like I'm playing 1 vs 11

i wud say dissapointed as there's not much changes apart the gameplay... hmm... i am playing with max difficulty though but still find it very easy to play..not enough challenging imo... the graphics,sounds and features pretty much the same!!! master league still without 20teams(i will never understand why)... "champion league"(forgot the original default ml name)...mode often have u in a group where there's 1 or 2 teams from ur own league.... still lots of room for improvement

But that's not the worst thing, it's the cheaters that pause the game and then crash it.
Worst PES in a long time in my opinion. I don't like what they've done with the passing or the shooting system (although I don't seem to have much trouble with this, it was just better in the last versions of the game).
I dont' like it either. I mean animations are nice and controls more responsive, but it has an arcadish flavour, on line it is just fast players going coast to coast. PES5 had many flaws but you really need to play in a deeper way to score goals on line.
I guess it is a game for a younger audience who likes dribbling a lot.
