Disappointed please help

When I bought FIFA 2004 in the beginning of the year it run perfectly and nicely. For some time I was busy and I did not play it. Now I installed it again but I have problems. First I had the problem that it was too dark and I solved it but now I still have another problem.

The picture is not clear especially when I pass the ball. Even when the players are running it is a bit jerky (seems slow on all resolutions). Can anyone help me? I am planning to buy EURO 2004 but I am afraid that the same will happen.

P.S. I did not change anything in my computer.

Okay! Hmm... when you play FIFA 2004, did you open any program coz although you don't open any programs, there are still programs running in the background which you actually don't even know.

If there are, press CTRL+ALT+DEL, then go to Processes tab. End Process all the programs that have your user name by right-click on the programs except taskmgr.exe & explorer.exe. Then run FIFA 2004.

Tell me if it solve your problem.

or.. u could just set your detail level to LOW.. that'll solve the problem..

I tried what Romie proposed but it is the same. Regarding turning down the detail level I do not think it would help because my computer is good on perfomance. I have a pentium 4, 256MB RAM with Nvidia 4200 128MB Memory.

Are you some upgrading fanatic??? I told you that in January the game ran fine. Maybe it is because I am seeing the difference between PES and FIFA

What, psaila? Are you sure or not? Coz your system is much more powerful than mine. Mine is Pentium 4 2.4GHz, 128 RAM & 64MB Nvidia Geforce4 and it runs FIFA 2004 like DAMN, i say DAMN smooth.

I do not know what happened with FIFA. I am playing FIFA from the first one that came out and I never had problems.
