Discussion - Changing Money Spending Behavior Of Clubs

After shuffling through all the setting files data0, and data1 , I could not come across anything that seemed to define the spending behavior of clubs. If any of you know what has to be changed in order to make clubs spend money on better players then please reply.


So far my guess is that spending behavior of a club depends upon club prestige and the budget they have. So i'll try changing Crystal Palace's Budget and prestige to see if that makes any difference. Changing the budget alone did not make any at all. It was still ready to buy 33 year olds at 70OVR. So may be the prestige also has to be upped.

Anyways.. If any of you guys have idea regarding this then please help.

Update: Club prestige has no effect on what kind of players a club buys. Crystal palace was still content to buy 70ovrs oldies despite having prestige at 18 and a budget to buy almost any player..

May be I missed something in the setting files. Will explore them again.

open Main database with Dbmaster 12. You can see team starting budgets in Team section. There you can change it. But remember , that the budget will not show when you select a team at the beggining but it is there when your career actually begins.

If you go to the last pages of his thread you'll see that I have asked this question many days back there. No reply yet. Exocyst is probably busy. As for the already given info on his thread, none pertains to the info I am looking for. I myself have gone through all the settings twice and know at least what 75% of those mean. I also play with my own custom settings. But I never found what I was looking for.
