Do characteristics (speed king/ball winner etc) matter?

In the players profile you can choose the character of the player:
eg. hot tempered, prima donna, speed king etc...
Does anyone know if and if yes, how it influences the game?
I can understand that if a player is reckless he would make more tackles, but how does "prima donna" work eg?
And Mancini from Roma is described as a "speed king", but he only has speed 40 or so. This looks like a contradiction, does the "speed king" do anything in the game, even if the pace of the player is low?

They could work in conjonction with EA football manager game ,if you play football fusion.
I'm not quite sure though because I've just played the game a few times then deinstalled it.
You may ask the people who play the fusion feature.

Well, there is a file at cmn/be called frules_c, and it seems to say that, for instance, "Clinical Fiinishers" have an accuracy bonus; not 100% sure, though.
