An Improve from last year edition. Enjoyable gameplay with some flaws. Still not in the same level as WE series but.... the game is enjoyable for sure. Ill buy it.

I also used to think WE & PES kicked Fifas ass, but Fifa 2004 surely kicks their asses, EA did their homework and finally released a real soccer sim.

Its great and fun to play it. I prefer to the ones that critisize this game to actually play it with a great gamepad and also give it a chance. You can't learn or master the controls with in few games. I also couldn't make accurate passes at first, but practise makes it perfect. I can now sprint down the wing and cross, head, volley, its freaking fun. Way better than last year. You can also score diff type of goals. Crossing is not scripted anymore like last year. All you need to do is give it a chance and try it harder, it will be fun, believe me. I didn't like it at first but gave it a chance and the game rocks for me now. Things that I don't like in this game is the keepers are dumb and sometimes the shots are too fast. Other than that it looks good for now. I don't know how long this fun will last but it is great for now.

yeap... give the game a second,,third...foruth chance...and you will start to like it.

I have done very good plays...but its too difficult for me because i have never played a soccer ga,me with a keyboard...and now im trying to do it...though i suck. BUt im very sure that in my console.. this game will entertain me more than last year edition.-

I think that you'll find a huge difference once you have a gamepad to use, as you will be able to pass and run within the full 360 degree spectrum, whereas you cannot do this with the keyboard. As for myself, I hated it at first, but it is growing on me, which is the opposite effect to that which past FIFA games have had on me, and possibly a good sign. Still nowhere near WE, but it may actually be worth the money this year, which is something which has not happened with this franchise since RTWC 98 IMO. I'll reserve full judgement until I've played the full version for a month or so on console though.

with last year the game got better as i played it, but the bugs were too bad and the gameplay had no depth and was too easy.

this year it seems different, but for how long?!?!??!

Yeah, I know what you mean. Longevity has always been one of the FIFA series' main problems. I traded last years game in after about 6 weeks. The first ten minutes last year were pretty good, but it went downhill pretty sharpish. As for people saying that the game is scripted after only playing it for half an hour though, that's just bullsh*t. There are many problems which can be seen that quickly, but scripting isn't one of them.

P.S : I am sorry about the weather thing. I know that you were pretty hurt over that. :crazyboy: Just kiddin. :)

yes I agree better a lot better , but still some flaws stopping it from being great ..

But I'll buy it x2 .... PC and Xbox.

but I am also getting the PC version of PES3.

So far I like the game too and I can't wait buying it in 2 versions for PC ( one in German and one in English) so I can customize it with all the upcoming patches. It's a huge step ahead when you compare with the 2003 s**t.
And I 'll also get PES3 for PC.
