If you ask me, The Premiership will be the most exciting league this year. Boro, Newcastle, Birmingham have all strenghten their squads up to, if you ask me, Liverpool's level.

Followed closely by La Liga. Barca has brought in so many world stars, gonna be very interesting to watch.

Madrid has no holding mid and no depth.

Valencia will hopefully struggle to find the best system with their new coach.

Deportivo are always up there but I don't think they can compete. At least I hope they can't.Besides ,Barca is stronger than Depor now.

The only real opponent is Madrid and if they don't sign a defensive player ,they can't win La Liga. And the way Perez is going ,they won't.

Barca to win the League :rockman:

PS. Great spelling. LOL

Let's see

Barcelona last season > Madrid last season = what can be seen by looking at the league table.

Barca signings = 7
Madrid signings = 2
Barca build on last season's excellent comeback.
Madrid have ended up in CL qualifying stages ,have a new coach who will have to build a new style of play since Queiroz wasn't very successful. And don't think Madrid's problems are solved because they beat Tokyo Verdy :crazyboy:

We have more than enough players while Madrid lost Cambiasso and got Owen (unneccessary) and Samuel (great buy).
So basically ,Barca is filled with new quality players (both defensive and attacking) while Madrid overloaded their attack some more and bought just one defender while I think two more are needed.

Barca = ready to start the season.
Madrid = overloaded attack ,no depth in other parts of the team ,a hole in defense ,no holding mid ,Figo leaves in December the latest.

Who is getting his hopes up ,Madrid boy?
Knowing Madrid fans ,you probably expect a treble.I am ,on the other hand ,realistic and only want the league.

I think that Barcelona will finish second behind real madrid.

Camacho is a good enough manager to bring real back to being europes best and most feared team, and Samuel will provide much needed solidity.

Larsson and Ronaldinho will work well together but they just aren't as classy a side.

Also, I think Owen will have a bigger impact at real than most people think. All he needs is his form back and he didn't win the 2001 European player of the year for nothing, did he?

Great site by the way, glad I joined :)

we will get another defender. just wait.
and with for example Cannavaro we will have a better defence then Barca.

and with Helguera playing in the mid. we will be stronger since he is so much better in that position.

and remember with 7 new signings u can't just go out and think that all these new "stars" will function together. it will take time.

i dont think we can do a treble. but i do think that we can win la liga and the copa del rey. champions league.. well.. u never know.
