I'll just say something here, no offense to Fidel: This is EA's game. They created it, they own it. Modding is fine, and offering free mods isn't the issue. The issue for me is people who use Ad Fly links are trying to make money off of someone else's game. That is the bottom line. Personally, I think that's wrong.

i dont share your opinion, mods extend games lives, for instance i still play command and conquer zero hour because of mods like rise of the reds/shokewave...
skyrim because of its huge modding potential
a patch rise of mordor ( for total war warhammer)is in progress and once released many will buy the game just for that mod
so it is profitable for developpers that their games get modded
ea decided that fifa get frosbite engine just to have every game with the same engine not to block modding
and i still dont mind if modders get some cash in return of their effort

They can do what they want sure, all I was saying in my first post is I won't download anymore from these spam ad sites that dump malware on my PC. I'll skip the mod if it means risking infecting my PC with that stuff.

This statement sums up the biggest change in PC modding in the past 15 years, as well as shining light on the shift in peoples' attitudes and society in general.

15 years ago, people did stuff because... that's just what everybody did. They shared. And that's what modding communities used to be about: sharing ideas, testing and sharing mods and files.

Now, people do stuff... with the expectation of getting something in return. People don't come to sites like this to share anymore. They come to get something, to download whatever file they're looking for. They don't do any of the work or the testing themselves, sheesh they can't even be bothered to search for what they need or wait a few weeks until the game is decrypted. They create a thread asking someone to give them a file and post a link. That's the extent of their "community" participation.

15 years ago we all would have laughed in the face of someone who threatened not to share their work. Nobody back then was that desperate. We'd just do it ourselves. Today, people are desperate because they don't learn how to mod for themselves, they're reliant on someone else fixing the game for them. And so that's why they would worry about modders not sharing their work.

Well, if you're pissed off with society because it takes advantage of greater technological and technical advancement which is the purpose behind those in the first place then you don't deserve ears to your cries because its common sense to be understanding towards inevitable happenings. Us humans are naturally survivalistic/pragmatic and not everyone is a programmer or have the time and money for their whims to be taken care of easily. People in this age or 15 or 500 years ago had the same traits they have now and wanted different stuff. Needed different things. That said, I don't disagree with you wholeheartedly Bangus and actually agree with a lot to what you have to say.

If you don't want to get Fidel's patches or whatever because of ad flys or whatever, nobody is going to personally plead to you to do so. Its your choice to or not to do it whatever your evaluation is. Its the same for others. There is no need or justification for wanting to shove something down someone else's throat just because you can't get on with any other.

I'm not saying you should take everything on the chin or be understanding towards everything. Regularcat for example, since I've been here, has helped me all the time and has always been open to me including other members without a doubt. Always available, helpful and communicating. That doesn't naturally give him the authority to say whatever came to mind like that time about what he said to Simo. Its the same towards me from others and its normal everything isn't perfect or smooth or easy.

Instead of talking so much and to the point you can't control yourself from the urge to state your opinion or say something without thinking how much sense it makes learn to listen and understand.

And finally, about 15 years ago, this generation that you dislike or whatever didn't come from hot air. Its built upon through the ages and same dependency through natural process will keep on happening with technical differences. Always point the finger to yourself first and learn empathy. You could do all that without uttering a word either or any sort of serious effort.

A mod needs to come here and end pointless and endless discussion over nothing issues.

Not sure what you're getting at with the "personally plead" comment because I'm not pleading. I don't care what he does with his uploads, that's his business. I'm more than happy with my FIFA 17 and how it plays, best FIFA ever without even having to mod anything. And if I can't download his mods to at least try them out, then oh well.

The spam ads bother me, I hate them.
And I communicated that to Fidel.
And he chooses to keep using Ad Fly.
And that doesn't bother me one way or the other.

Problem is your anti-virus program, shut it off, download and install, turn anti-virus back on.

Doesn't solve the problem. Even when I turn off my anti-virus, and download update, then I can't install it, becasue of malware. So the problem is with this file.

Hello to everyone. Big thanks for all comments and congrats. Thank you to bangus feedback, I've provided to add a normal native direct link to my cloud (no adfly), so you can use. Check one of my latests post.

I'll remember to everyone: I'm not really active in my thread (for support or other requests) because I'm really busy with my private job and on the free time I'm investigating into the frostbite engine to discover a bug or much more possible informations.
Sometimes my absence is justified by the fact that after some time I make mods e some incredibles.
So today I'm able to upload some pics about my new incoming mod for the 17:

In your FIFA 17 game:
the gameplay camera height and zoom modifiers in the menù are not working.
This because is a game bug and not fixed by DevT-Dice after first game title update.
Anyway now I've fixed and tweaked, so you can now adjust gameplay camera height and zoom through camera sliders,
this is not like original camera sliders (already see in the 16 with a poor range modifiers), but now you can use modded camera modifiers.
The effect in game is amazing and beleave me this sounds like a mod of the year (FIFA 17).
Now the range you can adjust has been increased so every fifa player can now setup the gameplay camera as he want.
Include a sort of LOD fix especially if you adapt and increase a little bit the gp cam zoom, because now is working.
I'm finalizing the 17 camera work but I'm testing some other features, the mod come out with an exe, in one click you can patch the game memory and injiect new code to enable/unlock gameplay gamera sliders + tweaked modifiers.

In red you can see the settings working and now tweaked included with first version of incoming 17 camera tool, I'll release soon, for this weekend, I think.
In the future you can adjust all above settings, so I'll add new gp camera features in the future.
You will not believe your eyes when you see this mod in your 17 game (this special mod will work in fifa 17 pc version only),
the new camera tool include a little gameplay in order to re-adapted some settings in order to archive impressive fluidity on both with new camera edits,
anyway I've provided to add a lot of connected pointers, so when the user change camera setup sliders in automatic real time some gp settings will be adapted.

Working also on an exclusive LOD Tool, some news asap. Same technology of camera tool, injecting code in the memory.

FYI Fidel, I discovered the cams can be edited (zoom settings etc.) by setting all four cam selections in the list to the cam one wants to use.
