I downloaded mod pack 0.2 and again it has squads, locale.ini, inits file again.Isn't it proper to overrite it manually, not by frosty thing?
Try different files and see if you like the changes. You're aware most don't require Frosty so start with those if that's your preference. I'm using an edited db, and Fidel's inits file adaptive difficulty fix and CE Pro Cam, that's all, no Frosty mods. Have never enjoyed FIFA as much as this year. In other words, the Frosty tools are fab, but unnecessary if all you want is improved (sim) gameplay.

So far I am still getting shrugged off the ball with the likes of Hazard, Neymar, Ronaldo and Messi and it doesn't matter what defender I face. I tried DB editing and sliders but no luck. Any ideas?

That's impossible! Not a chance!
If you edited the DB, you'll have the perfect game......

...At least that's what I've been told...

I've been editing and testing DB edits (player and team edits) since 2011. I've probably spent 200 hours on FIFA 18 alone, just editing and testing what the game will give us this year. Spending 2-3 hours testing a couple of different things won't cut it. Keep in mind DB edits do not fix the game, but they can improve it. If you're looking for a quick magical fix, then you're going to be disappointed and will give up.

More importantly and if you're seriously interested in DB editing, you have to put yourself into the modder's headspace. A modder only wants to improve the game. People who continually complain about the game's faults and who have nothing helpful to add, along with people like the poster above who sarcastically belittles the efforts of those who have offered editing advice, are not here to help improve the game.

Modding is a process. A modder edits something, and then reports on the results. S/he doesn't particularly care whether it worked or not. The point is to analyze what the edits did or didn't do to improve the game. List what you edited, and post what you observed. Then people can have a real conversation about what to try next.

Pretty much what I have done is set all CPU players strength and tackling to 0 and all of my players agility and dribbling to 100 but I still get CPU players barging my players constantly and sometimes magnetically teleport to get the ball out of my feet. I also feel like a string is pulling my players from the back when dribbling. However when I use right-stick and do skill moves, everything is fine again. This is like FIFA punisihing you for not doing skills constantly but this is no FIFA street. I just need to find a way to disable those two issues.

First issue is CPU tackling with precision and constantly barging and shielding to the point they will teleport you. You cannot wrong foot them or confuse them with change of pace. That makes players like Hazard, Messi and Neymar useless.

Second issue is the Dribbling which is kinda what causes a bit of the first issue. In real life players like Hazard can quickly accelerate. But in this game, it feels like there is a huge boulder on your back. Doesn't matter who you control, they will take ages to go finish the animation transition. Things like this is impossible without right-stick.

Second issue is the Dribbling real life players like Hazard can quickly accelerate. Buing a cheap t in this game, it feels like there is a huge boulder on your back.
These are mostly coding limitations, and limitations in the game engine. We all know what we're getting with EA and FIFA, it's essentially the same game every year. Expecting the game to do things beyond the evident and already-known limitations of the game engine, is like buying a Yugo and expecting it to perform like a BMW. Teleporting is like Madden's suction tackling which has been in that game for 15 years. It's EA's way of finding quick and easy solutions to their games' coding limitations. They don't put the time and effort into making the CPU smarter and more tactically savvy; rather, they create cheats that both gimp your players and give CPU players superhuman powers. That's how they do it, it's the worst kind of game-coding approach because it doesn't make the game smarter, it makes it dumber.

Let's take your speed concern. You can easily raise player speed/accel ratings, and raise speed/accel sliders, to create a setup that allows FWs to accelerate like Hazard in that gif you posted. Try this: edit all FWs 99 speed and 99 accel, all MFs 66 speed 66 accel, all CBs 33 speed 33 accel. Set speed and accel sliders at 59. Now your FWs will accelerate and blast by defenders.

The problem of course is FWs can then run 100 mph for minutes at a time. So what do you have to do to compensate? Lower stamina (and agility, which affects speed etc) into the teens. But then what does that do? It makes players too tired to finish games, too tired to play the next game. When you fix one issue, you often create another. That's because of the limitations of the game engine.

I find a balance that works. Not one that is perfect, because that's impossible, but that is good enough. Then I get on with enjoying the game. Example: One coding issue is that your players when dribbling are way too slow, and are always caught from behind. Simple fix: raise USER speed/accel sliders higher than CPU speed/accel sliders. This allows you to have a chance at least of being able to grab the ball and outrun the CPU at times -- not always, which is realistic -- but enough that it works.

I just uploaded a video to vent a bit off my frustration. At this point, I feel like there's no solution to it other than tweaking a shit ton of stuffs to just balance the issue a bit. This is recorded in Legendary with the new AGPAI

This is recorded in Legendary
There is a reason it's called LEGENDARY. Because CPU players are SUPERHUMAN.

That game play looked like everything I hate about FIFA and avoid like the plague. First off, pushing forward all the time into defending players, will almost always result in you losing the ball. Fidel states again and again, use the shield button. My own way of dealing with things is to set my team tactics to all-out defending, and lower the line width slider to 25. Then I slowly move the ball forward, walking the ball essentially. When a CPU defender approaches, I turn my back to them, or I move backwards (not forwards), or I pass back to a teammate. And because my line width is low and my team playing tight, there are always several passing choices for me. I play 7 minute halfs and I doubt I average even 1 shot per game. 0 shots for me is the norm. That's the pace I play at.

And absolutely the one thing I rarely do is run forward and try to blast by defenders. That doesn't work, nor would I expect it to. And I'm glad, the CPU defenders in this game are many times better than FIFA 16, where you could just walk right by them along the sidelines because they never took the correct angle on you.

Well obviously there is an easy way around it is by passing around the defenders. However there comes a point, when I have players like Hazard, I miss going through defense and wrong-footing defenders. I can always easily pass around any players and score. I don't understand why FIFA can't add errors and delay when it comes to CPU tackling. The tackling feels too robotic and instant now especially from the CPU and I doubt that strength and tackling stats even matters for CPU anymore. The only thing that overrides those cpu tackling is if you were shielding or doing skills. There is no variation if most of your goals either come from crosses or tiki taka your way to the goal. That's where my problem is.

I spent 10 years in a crappy marriage. I couldn't understand why the woman I was married to was such a witch. Why couldn't she be like _______ (fill in the daydream blank). Then one day in a moment of spontaneous understanding I realized: I can EDIT THIS! So I packed my bags in five minutes and drove off, and that was the end of my misery.

There, the key to enjoying FIFA and to living a happy life. Do whatever it takes.

Key to enjoying FIFA is by not playing it at this point. Might as well call the game "Maldini XI".

Giving up then... yes, that's one option and choice.

I'll tell you my observation, not trying to be cruel, just honest: each time someone offers you some editing tips, you come back with another complaint about the game, or with a blow-off excuse comment like, "Well obviously there is an easy way around it..."

I know for sure you didn't try even half the edits I suggested. I said to lower ratings like Reaction, Positioning and Interception to 1. I also said to assign the two dribbling traits to attackers. Did you do that, do you even know those trait codes? The answer is no obviously. You want a quick fix, that's really the problem here at this point and why you're fed up. Your expectations are too high. And you're unwilling to do what's necessary to try and fix the game, your "no solution to it other than tweaking a shit ton of stuffs" comment is evidence of that. For you, it's a ton of work, it's too much work. For me, it's a fun way to spend a few hours, tweaking all that stuff. That's the difference.

I just finished a game. Several times in the game I blasted by CPU defenders and walked right around them, left them standing there watching as I breezed past. Why? Two reasons mostly: I play on a lower difficulty level, and I lowered players ratings like Reaction, Positioning and Interception way way way down. CPU defenders in my game are no longer super-human. It's really that easy and uncomplicated.

EDIT: Just finished another game. Wish I had recording software. Dribbled near the CPU box and took on three CPU defenders, all of whom either missed the tackle or tapped at the ball but couldn't win the ball away cleanly. I ended up spinning around the third defender and getting a cross into the box. Very gratifying knowing my edits do work and that I don't have to give up on this game ;) Seriously though, it was a great great game, every game of FIFA 18 I play is just so satisfying. Slow. Sim. Beautiful. (Thanks in large part as well to Fidel's Pro Cam mod -- FANTASTIC! -- and his adaptive difficulty patch.)

Yes please share. I am not good with db edits. I just want to be able to dribble however I play on Legendary but it's too easy.

FIFA 18 FROSTY MODDATA LAUNCHER CODE GENERATOR 0.2
Updated version is available to download. Read documentation for more info.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
FIFA 18 FROSTY MODDATA LAUNCHER CODE GENERATOR 0.1
DOCTOR+ PRODUCTIONS -- MODS FROM THE FUTURE SERIES
GAME TITLE UPDATE 3 REQUIRED - NOT TESTED ON UPDATE 4
IMPERATIVE: PLAY THE AGPEM GAME ALWAYS VIA NEW FIFA18MOD LINK

I'll try to solve user's issues with Frosty Suite and unable to play modded game
or unable to play my ModData Pack already shared.
FLCG is an easy tool to generate unique launch parameters for your installed game.
Launch parameter link code is unique and will depends from a lot of things in any
PC and OS settings like Win ver, patch where the game is installed, Origin settings, etc.

The problem in Frosty FMM Launch is the fifasetup.exe workaround method.

Anyway I've discovered a way to run modded game from the main Origin.exe
in this way all issues was perfectly solved because the Origin.exe is the
highest administrator and in the fact the EA family privileges and software
workaround is: Origin.exe>fifasetup.exe>FIFA18.exe

From today you can start the Frosty modded game through new FIFA18MOD desktop shortcut.

HOW TO USE - required only the first time
Last game started from Origin must be FIFA 18

DOWNLOAD FULL PACKAGE FROM HERE
https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B4Vs63xsKVMlTXJCSnhZcFNsdEk
Latest version: FIFA18_FLCG_0.2_[D+]_pub.rar

1 (auto) - Run FLCG_0.1_[D+].Exe (FL Code Generator) you can see your link code:

2 (auto) - Click OK (don't press any key after hit OK) to clean, fix, copy code in memory and generate new FIFA18MOD desktop shortcut:

3 (user) - Right click in FIFA18MOD shortcut - click Property - in Destination paste your code - apply - OK
When you hit OK if everything is working you can see no errors saving shortcut.
Paste code in the already selected destination when you click Property.

FLCG will work with every Origin game already launched with Frosty tools,
and will extract the code related to last game played.
For example tool will work also for Andromeda and other EA games moddable with Frosty.

ENJOY

TRY THIS SOLUTION IF CODE IS EMPTY FOR YOU:
- Run ORIGIN_CC.exe (Origin Cache Cleaner in OCC folder)
- Run Frosty MM and click Launch, quit from game or if game don't start try FLCG
- Run FLCG to generate code and then follow step 3 to add code to new shortcut.

Download and install latest ModData Pack 0.2 and play with FIFA18MOD link.

Bro bangus please download FLCG from new provided pack I've uploaded right now.
I've released this tool for users and friends like you. Bye and let me know if worked.
Thank you again 100000 times for all your helping tips in the whole forum.
I'm working also to a custom Origin Settings editor, in order to disable spyware settings that EA included in Origin client
and not available options in default Origin GUI, but you can manage all Origin settings easy (anyway in the future).
I've also intercepted some pkg files that Origin inject in the FIFA18.exe, now I need to check if there also a gameplay package ramdomly injected when you go online (but affect the offline played after the online session, also the day after).

EDIT: if you make working my method you don't need to open ce table to patch pro cam, lods, etc every time you start game, but can you have all mods installed in permanet version and perfectly working.
And also included main db unlock end other tweaks and mods.
Check ModData Pack 0.2 info.

I will do that for you big guy and will try it out. I have to say though... with the edited db I am using, and your adaptive difficulty fix file, the game is perfect for me as is, it is playing SO well. But the thing that really makes it impossible to stop playing is your Pro Cam mod. Man, it is like being on the pitch and playing the game myself. Which is even better than real life because I hate running and prefer sitting. But seriously, that camera makes FIFA 18 so dang fun to play, I'm in video football heaven this year. Thanks for all your mods and hard work Fidel.
