experience has to do with judging a game. Having seen a lot of soccer games, i know what is good/wrong with a soccer game. For example, PES 2014, from the very first pass i was extremely disappointed.

I've changed values (vastly) to almost all fidel's parameters in cl.ini, and guess what?
No difference.

To make him justice though, in FIFA 14 Pc, with the cl.ini and 3 other files, he did make a difference in gameplay.
Tha ball went loose all the time, even players was "forgetting" it while running.
It gave game a more free feeling, but it had a lot of negative impact (ridiculous controls, ball forgotten, player awareness etc)

You don't have to be a modder to change slider settings. Go into settings and change them, it takes one minute of your time.

Bangus I know you have good ideas, I see them, but if you try to approach the discussion on here a bit less aggressively you'll get a far better response.

Now i'll be honest, i've tested just yesterday with Fidel's cl.ini 2.0 and 2.1 and without and there is a definite difference, hands down. I played a game without the cl and prety much at world class, beat the PC 4-0 without too much difficulty. Against the same team, barely tied or beat the PC, there are differences.

What I have noticed is some of the feedback I have already given Fidel:

With cl 2.1: PC is much harder to play against, they pass the ball around a lot, PC is much more aggressive on the tackles, also PC will win most of the tackles, protecting the ball is generally harder too, and the time between I click pass or shoot and the player does it is not as good as without cl.ini. Also, more fouls, and more yellow cards with the cl, one of my favorite things, but also players fall a lot more often, my own players sometimes even trip each other.

So for those doubters out there, there IS a difference between Fidel's mod and without it, and he's continuously working hard to improve gameplay, Anyone that doubts go load his latest mod + db for Fifa 14, amazing gameplay. Just his current mod needs to get there, which will take a bit of time but will get there.

For now, due to the difficulty i'm finding with the cl.ini and the slower response, and difficulty of the tackles by the PC, i'm opting to play without the cl.ini on world class, tried professional with the cl.ini and won the game by 4-5 goals.

Well have you tried that combo? what was gameplay like? I was also under the impression that rna and cl do not work together.

Of course there's a difference. To the person who said the patch is a placebo.. :rofl:

I dont really watch the gameplay videos, I test them out for myself. Without the patch, and on world class or legendary, the CPU is very passive until you get near the penalty area. With the patch, they are very aggressive especially in midfield and will close you down. I also tested Fidel's patch vs Paul's, who claims to have more fouls as well, but they are fairly similar with the major difference being I can usually pass the ball easier with Paul's, whereas with Fidel I usually get tackled before I can release the ball. The AI senses I'm about to pass and steps up. Sometimes you can turn away or even fake the shot but the game forces you to think instead of just pass pass pass sprint... scoooore.

I definitely have noticed these differences as well. Especially the delay from when you press pass or shoot and it actually doing it.

Fidel, everything is amazing how you have it, the only feedback I would give is 1. See if there is anything that can be done about the delay in passing and shooting, and 2. Perhaps make shielding the ball just SLIGHTLY more effective, it doesn't need too much of a tweak there but I do find that the AI is able to get the ball a bit too easily even when I'm shielding it.

Other than that I think everything is awesome, great job Fidel!

Anyway read below to check out at hidden gameplay settings into the game structure.

Yes SLIDNG is in the exe. Range is from 0 to 100, is the sliding attempt in many defensive situations - AI)
This fix also the stupid defence happen sometimes (AI). This value is also connected to many other strings.
I often find syntax errors like this (in every fifa version). Isn't my fault.
Anyway all wrong strings (stored/wrtited in the exe with wrong syntax - by EADT) are working because is important the value connected to these strings.
For example if you want to fix yourself the string you post:
SLIDING=100 (is not working because the syntax is wrong)

Ok, you can see my replies and comments in red, and please read below.
I am a lover of artificial intelligence in general, I love study fifa engine because I am fascinated.
I only try to improve the gameplay, sometimes I work full months to try only one gameplay string setup.
All strings are stored in the exe, but you must attach a special debug software to check out at all strings (many locked parts this year).
Testing string settings are you able to check out at differences in game?
For example if you disable the referee, this is easy to see in game differences.
The work becomes complicated when you are working to the gameplay, especially if you are editing to a very high level.
Now I do not know what you've tried to edit in my string's settings, believe me it works and you can edit what you want,
you need to touch up/tweak in the right way.

I dont have free time to post here all fifa gameplay edit tips.
If you are an expert programmer check out all my strings into the exe, now you are able to run the game in a debug mode and attach it to an external debugger to find out default settings on strings?
If your reply in NO. Ok, I did it for you, open my cl.ini, edit my values (check at my values to easy understand ranges/multipliers.
If your reply in YES, edit yourself and try to release the best ultimate gameplay even made for fifa15.

Remember another two words:
I've released the gp evo for fifa 15 after receiving real feedbacks/suggestions (from super advanced soccergaming users and game experts, what they asked me I did (real gameplay fixes and tweaks).
I did not understand the reason for your post or who sent you here, but this post is offensive for me, but especially for all those great experts and sg forum users.

But finally some good news for us and for you:
checking gameplay engine address to reply in this post with the pic, for a mistake I've opened the game in two thread simultaneously in debug mode, this unlock many EASF gameplay encrypted files, like product.ini and platform.ini, this is super fantastic news and here I'll share many settings.
If someone want to try out strings values, is easy fro strings with 0 or 1 but for others values I'm working to check at address where the strings points (here is stored the default value), wait for my settings.
Here the pic with many new strings in the product.ini:
For example you can see the effect in game by enabling and disabling the new crane camera:
USE_CRANE_CAMERA=0 //to disable the camera inside it in gameplay (anyway I like it)

I'm currently working to check out at the value of this gameplay string (If someone want to try)
GC_GRAY_ZONE_WIDTH=at moment unknown value
goalkeepers gray zone width, ok, but it means? If you are soccer expert you understand it.
But effect in game?
Ok try out, start with a range and try to edit,
remember to use the correct unit of measurement or wait for my next gameplay update,
(but for me, try to use slider's settings ranges like 0 to 100) or try to use distance in feet unit.

I want to show here that nothing is simple, imagine to works and tweak at nearly 400 strings (first 15 gameplay editing).

I'm working to camera codes, and also to my exclusive career mode unlock mod with new update to restart match in career mode and much more.
About crowd disable, bad news, at moment I'm not able to remove 3D crowd in the stadium like past years.
Crowd structure is different this year, because is like a part of the gameplay engine in the match.
Paste years I easy disable crowd through crowd.lua file, not this year. I'm currently study the situation, testing other way to disable.

Try to use strings in the cl.ini or wait for the new file I provide, the problem is if the product.ini override cl.ini, in this case strings are not working in the cl.ini, wait for my tips, I'm currently testing out, to create the new product.ini and remove the reference into data_ini.bh (100% working method for all strings).
Or try to put into rna.ini and remove reference from related bh.

Good work to everyone with new product.ini strings!
Now maybe those who had doubts about me, now he understood what I am capable of doing.
